1. Never add water!!!!!!!!! Especially if you are already having a hard time with them, I use very little Oil and a tiny bit of water based color and that is enough, citric acid just does not like the water. I was unable to get a bomb until I stopped adding water or alcohol. Michelle
2. Thanks for all the compliments. I used to make the loofahs in a long loaf, I used a piece of pvc as a mold, they were a PITA to cut so I finally realized all I had to do was have DH cut the pvc into individual molds and now I make them each in these individually, believe me they look much cooler that way because you can add some additives to the top and each on has it' own character. Can you believe some people say they use them on their whole body IKES and I have had the suggestion to put them on sticks as back scratchers, which if I ever get a spare moment I just might try LOL The peppermint leaves I put in the bottom of half of the mold then when I add my ingredients they stick when smuch. I made Cappuccino and put coffee grounds at the ends, hey, they are saying caffeine is good for your skin LOL Michelle
3. Eucalyptus Mint, with peppermint leaves, looks yellow, but is light green Berries & Champagne, two toned, smells yummy Ocean Mist loofah scrub bar for feet, has a loofah, glycerin soap, oats, poppy seeds, pumice and mango butter, these are one of my best-sellers, I have 5 fragrances including the eucalyptus mint (eo blend) which sells out every show
4. Mine went out yesterday, I rec'd my yummy Pink Sugar Bar, it smelled great, had an awesome lather and a nice hard bar, Thanks Marisa I'm ready for another as well, I love using someone elses soap. My DH cannot understand why, I explain to him it is like always having to make your own birthday cake, it is nice for someone else to make it for you LOL Michelle
5. Umm, I have had some people ask for it, I really want to add it to my baby line in Lavender Vanilla. Those bottles are gorgeous but is says limited supply, I hate getting things, liking it and then it is gone the next time. I just went thru that with my misters at the sage Michelle
6. The are as tall as a bar of soap but 3 triangles came from one bar so i would say about 1 oz each, I ahve not weighed them yet
7. I agree with Lande, FNWL's Pink Sugar stinks, I think in the bottle and out. Disappointing, since so many of their fragrances rock. I ordered theirs in an emergency since my regular supplier was out of stock. I get mine from soapncandles.com, it is AWESOME Michelle
8. I got the idea for these on Ponte Vedra's website, they are scented in Pumpkin vanilla but it smells like candy, I am very impatient and normally hate layering soap due to having to wait for each layer to start setting, I did pretty good this time, only a few runs. I normally hate Halloween but am getting more in the spirit since I have little ones. TFL Michelle
9. I just got another email from her and she does not know where to get them. Humm, she has to know where they got theirs, but anyway back to the drawing board on this one Michelle
10. I got an email back today, they not only don't have the embeds but they don't make the kits any longer either. She was not forthcoming with info on where we could possibly find the embeds so I replied back asking her if she knew where we could get them. **she will probably say Oriental Trading LOL** This is frustrating!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! elle
11. They are glycerin with added milk etc. HTH
12. I emailed the contact person with Life of the Party since they are the ones who make the snowglobe kits and I will also try to call on Monday. elle
13. I purchased my foaming bath butter from them and had great service HTH Michelle
14. I am going to try to contact Life of the Party and see if they sell them individually:p
15. I keep looking as well, no luck what so ever. I was Big Lots the other day and they even had some snowglobe soaps for sale and theirs had water in the globes. I don't understant it. I am wondering, since Life of the Party makes the kits, couldn't we call them to see if they sell the globes seperately? Michelle
16. They look great and bet they all smell divine. I still have to get me one of those molds but then I will be changing bar shapes again...I have to stick with what I am doing for awhile or maybe just make a few in a new shape at first. elle
17. I think they are ready in 2 weeks but Robin said she lets hers sit for 3 weeks, anyone can jump in and correct me at anytime. I am addicted to it. love the consistency upon taking out of molds Thanks everyone for the compliments Elle
18. I have those same little fruit molds from the $$ store, they are so cute, I made some coconut lime verbena w/the lime slice one. The really look great, she did a great job, Fruit Slices FO is one of my favs Michelle
19. Ok, here is another one with water discount, scented in Ocean Mist, swirled with ultramarine blue and turquoise, silk added to the lye, I also made this soap with room temp lye and oils at about 100 degrees, again this soap feels nice and firm from the discount. I love it...smells so fresh, very unisex FO Thanks for looking Elle
20. I bought some, about 70 real cheap at a close out, my last show is the first time I took them, I sold a few, but I did use them as free gifts for a few regulars and they do make awesome gifts w/ your soap, I stack about 4 bars, with a small piece of tissue between each one and tie with raffia and they look adorable. Michelle
21. Those look yummy, great swirls, I am curious, when pouring CP into individual molds do you still swirl in pot? Do you ladle you soap into the molds etc? Michelle
22. Robin, thank God you were on, I was wanting to do this tonight, I am just so excited to being able to find some shortcuts to make things go smoother and quicker.
23. A quick ??????, I put my lye out today mixed with the water...so it is at room temp. MY ???? is, do my oils have to be at room temp as well, it is not olive oil soap so there would be some hard oils in my recipe, so it could not be room temp...does this make sense...can I pour it with room temp lye but hotter oils? Michelle
24. I know, I knew I was being none to smart but I did it anyway. For a second, I said, self this is crazy!!!!! then off I went. If it would have been a disaster you would have heard a whole lot of boo hooing
