Upon reading all the advice here ,please know we care I understand emotional & physical pain as well. You have to find a outlet for your depression & I truly believe candle making is the answer for you.. You mentioned this was your dream ,make it happen Pam . This is the best med you can take for depression .I live it daily believe me. I know a drug is not going to fix my emotional state of mind ,but my wax adventure has truly helped me get thru some very dark tough times. I have learned that I am going to be ok. You can do the same You have a very smart support group here . The best advice I can give you is the same as the others have said .Please get a second opinion with another MD especially . I completely realize you do need pain management & your pain can be controlled . Moonstar is also correct ,always tell each doctor what you are taking & never stop any drug without consulting your doctor. You will have to taper off. Your going to feel much better soon & my prayers go out to you. Remember pray ,have faith & never ever give up your candle making dreams. Yes Pam ,please get a second opinion asap.. Birdcharm is right ,we only live once .I think after you go to another doctor & get rid of some of these very dangerous meds ,you will be able to focus on your candle making dream. You can make this happen & never stop believing in yourself. The wax adventure itself is great therapy. It has certainly help me tremendously the past few years .I have faced a lot of tragic loss in my family & been clinically depressed as well.. I am disabled with spinal stenosis ,fibromyalgia & chronic pain. I have learned the most important thing is to give your troubles to God You have to know he loves you & he will give you strength to face each day. Please have faith in him & ask for guidance ,He has already paved the path for you ,now all you need to do is follow. Spend more time with your goals . I know you can do this & I do understand exactly what your going thru. I have some ideas for you for sure:) I would say first get to a different doctor & fast .After you start getting off some of these meds ,your going to start to feel much better . I do understand your going to have some really bad days with your pain & this is where your candle making can help. I used to lay in bed when I could hardly move & watch you tube videos on candle making & anything I could to do with wax. You will be surprised how fast your positive energy will decrease your pain. This will take your mind off the pain & you will pick up a lot of tips for your candle adventure. I always keep a notebook handy & write down a lot of tips etc... I think your depression can get better ,just know it takes time. First trust our Lord for guidance & please get another doctor soon. Aww Pam ,so sorry for what your going thru. ... I definitely think the meds are contributing to the depression. I do not want to pry into your business about your meds ,but I do know your doctor has you on way to much. Lyrica & gabapentin are basically the same thing . Gosh please talk to your doctor about this & actually being on Cymbalta + Paxil with these other 2 ,does not sound good to me at all. How long have you been seeing the doc that's giving you all this stuff together ? I think that is way to much together & yes all these will cause severe depression .Please talk to him about getting off some of those especially the Lyrica with the gabapentin, Cymbalta & paxil. The Mobic is for arthritis & my husband almost died from taking this stuff ,caused his blood pressure to rocket into a life threatening situation. It is basically the same as Vioxx ,the one they took off the market years ago .I lost a husband due to a heart attack after taking Vioxx 14 years ago. He had just turned 50 ,so please be careful with all the meds. Maybe find another doc if you have to. This just sounds like a awful lot of meds IMO to be on at one time. I definitely would advise you to change docs if need be ......I am so sorry if I sound like a busy body pushy person ,it is only because I am concerned & have been thru some loss due to meds. Lost 1 husband & nearly another .These meds all taken together sound awfully dangerous. I know you do need pain relief , but the ones that are not treating your pain seem to be causing you major depression IMO . Lyrica will help pain along with the Norco .I am concerned about the Mobic for sure & Lyrica with gabapentin, paxil & Cymbalta all together just sounds very dangerous. I do apoligize if I am being to involved here . It is only because I am very very concerned about your well being . Bless you Pam & please do talk to your doctor soon .I would definitely get a second opinion asap . Never stop any med cold turkey without docs instructions . I think you are being over medicated . I will chime in on the PPW , so far Maple Street has the best to my nose. It is so close to TCS & gives me a strong long lasting throw in my wax melts Countrygal3115 , You have me very tempted to try JS PPW . I have settled on MS after trying about 6 other companies with this scent. Trappuer & I have both been on the hunt for the PPW replacement .I honestly think that MS has the same supplier that TCS used for the PPW.I have never ordered this one from JS . Does the JS one have a lot of depth to it ? I have used JS in the past & had bad results.. I have a pound of Jelly donut ,Blackberry Pie & Cuppy Cake sitting on the shelf. I poured all 3 & no throw in my paraffin .I will try these in my new Aztec soy tart blend & see what happens. I will add that the Sugared Apples is super stong from JS . I use it alone & do a lot of blending with this scent .It has a very ripe apple smell & I think it is a BBW dupe if I am remembering correctly. Thanks for the review on the PPW , just might have to give this one a try. It seems my supplier list is growing & growing. I do recommend MS oils ,great sampler prices & low flat rate shipping .I love their oils so far with the ones I have tested. PPW ,Iced lemon Danish, Peach Magnolia Raspberry & all the Pumpkin scents .I am still testing more.

You can accomplish making your candles. Do not rush into this & be patient ,things will get better. You have many prayers going out for you

Pam do you take pain medication for your back & hip pain? Sometimes your doctor can work with what is best for your kind of condition. I have chronic pain & understand your depression .Please try to stay positive & not let your depression keep you down. Take charge & never stop trying. I have learned to take my time with my projects & do not over work ,setting goals is the first step to a better state of mind. I have suffered from depression & know what your facing. I lost both my parents & my brother within a 2 year time period ,thought I was not going to make it .I gave my sorrows to God & ask him for strength to carry on .It has been 2 to 3 years later & I am so much better. I do still have sad moments & always will miss them. I will be praying for you & hope you can focus on a goal for yourself. It can be just small baby steps & before you know it ,you are accomplishing your wax adventure with success. Pray for your nephew & give this to God ,he has his plan for us all . Some medications can actually cause depression ,so always discuss your progress with your doctor. I have learned that less is sometimes best ,of course we are all different .I send you prayers & hope you will be able to work toward your goal. I have found more & more people are loving MS oils & prices. I am going to check out Front Porch oils next .I have never ordered from FP & want to give them a try. I hope if anyone has used Front porch they will post reviews. I should just start a new topic on Front Porch oils & see what kind of feedback I get .They have very low prices ,so not sure the quality. Sometimes low prices does not always mean poor quality. I know they have a great success with their online business . I am willing to try some of their oils at least once. Lol I can add them to my huge FO collection

I use 4625 /4630 usually 50-50 paraffin blend .I also use Candlewics CBL 129 ,love this one .I do have to pay enormous amount of shipping to South,TX . I am happy with the other 50-50 blend so far ,but will say some scents perform better in the cbl 129. I have some Aztec soy tart blend curing right now & hope to get good results .I have been wanting to add soy to my line for a long time & Aztec has a new soy tart blend ,I took a chance & ordered some .I will post my results on this one . Yes not many reviews on MS at all. I need to go add my reviews soon on the ones I have tried. I still have more to test. I will say I love the Pumpkin pecan Waffle ,VBN, Lemon Danish & all the pumpkin scents they offer excluding Pumpkin Milkshake .The PM was fine with performance ,I just did not care for the scent. I have more to test .I placed another order today for more samples & I ordered a pound of their Pumpkin pecan Waffle. I was trying to replace Tennessee's & theirs is super close. It has a good strong throw in my wax. I have tried many other companies with no luck ,so I was thrilled with the MS results. I think they have some wonderful oils & love the 20 pack sampler price along with flat rate shipping. They also have some new really neat single tart clamshells & oval portion cups. I do recommend this co to anyone for some good FO'S. I hope you love their oils .Shipping is super fast too

Maple Street has a wonderful Vanilla Bean Noel if you want this scent for a lower price. They offer 20 samplers for $26.99 & flat rate shipping. IMO they have great quality oils on most of the scents they offer. If your wanting to save on WSP fragrance oils ,the black Friday sale is coming up soon. I am going to try adding the Cinn Donut BBW Aztec oil at a high temp around 195 & see what kind of results I get .I have a pound of this oil & from what I have read ,this may just make a difference. If it fails ,then I will give up on this scent I may try the reformulated in the 1 oz sampler as well. I really would like for this scent to perform well ,it would be a great one for fall & winter. I will keep you posted on results at high temp. Maybe I can get this done within the next couple of days. .I am in the middle of making wax chunks & fall tarts . I have a home town local show coming up on November 30 . The chunks are time consuming ,but well worth it when done. I always end up with a lot of bags when finished. I pack these in the white window craft bags .I get all my packing bags from Paper mart. Sorry got off topic on this . My advice to you about Aztec is give them another chance .They really do have some great oils .They have also started adding some Crafters choice items .I am hoping they will get some of their oils as well. They have stated to feel free to request Crafters choice products. I am going to message them to please add the Vanilla Bean Noel fragrance oil. Aztecs price will be much lower than WSP Gosh VBN from WSP is over 30 a pound If enough of us request this scent ,I think they will eventually offer it . I will put in my request for it & I am sure more crafters will do the same.

Moonstar ,No problem on the delay LOL ... Well the lollipop swirl is gone & it does remind me of ribbon candy ,same as the thin candy I buy & love during the holidays I have looked into a replacement for this one . Natures Garden carries a Rock Candy & I am going to try this one &see what happens. I have never ordered from NG & have heard great reviews on their oils .I have a cart full & now have to narrow it down a bit lol. I am the worlds worse about filling up a cart & then go back to select the final choices. It takes me a week to place a order ,have trouble making up my mind. I do still continue to order from Aztec & have been for a few years ,love most of their oils & never had a bad one until this one. I have ordered some I did not care for ,but not saying the oil was bad ,just did not care for the smell. I will say I love almost all I do get thou. I love there 5 for 5 deals & special introductory price on new scents. It is a gamble to order a pound at a time ,but I am usually very happy with most. I did ask for a refund on the Cinn Donut BBW & never received a response either .I did get a call from Terry & missed the call ,so maybe it is to do with the bad oil. I had leakage all over the place with that one. I ordered a whole pound.. I think maybe it came to them this way & they just did not realize the issue ,so I will continue to be a loyal customer. I have some that are must haves thru them & cannot do without or replace. Most of their oils bind so well with the waxes I use. I did order a 5 lb sample of the soy tart blend & excited to smell the results. I have a few scents curing at this time. I am guessing I should let them sit a week before testing. I have always wanted to add soy to my line & hope this soy tart wax blend will work out. I will keep you posted on this wax . I love their Pumpkin spice for fall. I would say most of Aztecs oils are good quality ,but now & then their are a few on the light side, this seems to be the case with all companies thou. Their shipping cost is great & I receive my orders super fast. I love their Crème brulee & the discontinued Guava is superb in my wax .I use it to blend with others scents to. I did order a pound of theor Citrus Punch & I read good reviews on it . It should smell like Raspberry lemonade according to some of the reviews ,sounds good. I will be happy to send you samples, if I have what your looking for from Aztec. I have quite a collection from this co LOL. I do not mind at all. I have so many & always buy the 5 for 5 deals every month, along with most of their newly added scents .I do get the pound size in most. I will chime in on this one .I use a presto with the spigot & my husband built me a shelf to raise it up. It does have to be sitting high so the pour pot fits underneath. I have read post on here about the roasters & some ladle out & others pick it up & pour. I have spinal stenosis in my neck & spine ,so there is no way I can do the roaster. The presto with spigot is the only way for me, due to my physical disability. I get severe neck pain just from pouring a pound of wax. I take a lot of breaks & carry forward best as I can Love the presto spigot

I just placed a order with TCS....They have 2 new scents Hollyberry Mistletoe & Santas Farts lol I sure hope they have not changed their suppliers .I use their True Lavender also & love the scent. It gets frustrating trying to find exact replacement oils. Aztec has Santa's farts as well ,something new for the holiday season. I will be changing the name of this one.... lol

Yes Kandlekrazy it is a bit confusing . I am referring to the Candlesource ,since Tennessee has closed. I do agree too many initials .I think there is a list on here with the companies & initials they stand for ,however many are the same . I am a newbie & not sure exactly where to tell you to find this .I am sure someone will chime in on this subject . I love many of The Candlesource oils. Fast ship at a low price is the icing on the cake

LOL Trappuer , Gosh I did not realize this was a oldie. Oh well it is THE CANDLESOURCE company .Yes it can be confusing. I highly recommend most of their oils ,very good quality on most. First tip I will give you thou ,ppw no go for me . Their clothesline is the BOMB! I wasn't kidding ,my neighbors can tell when I am pouring this one lol. They have a wonderful Mulberry & I do like the Sugared spruce for fall. You may want to give this one a try. The balsam from CS is much stronger ,but TCS Sugared spruce is a different nice aroma. I love CS Balsam too. The Candlesource Brandied Fruit is same as Apple jack & peel IMO. I did read on here that TCS MULBERRY is the same as Peaks or Candlescience ,not sure which one .I use a lot of CS oils & I think you would love some of their oils as well. The shipping is low price flat rate & very prompt. I receive my order in 2 days & I am in TX ,now that's fast service. Please do check this company out .Feel free to message me if your wanting a opinion on any of their oils .I have tried them all & overall very satisfied .Some are hit & miss ,but this is the case with all co. in my experience . To everyone who loves fresh scents , TCS Clothesline is super duper STRONG in my paraffin wax blend. My neighbors can smell my tarts when I am making & melting this scent. I also have noticed that Cinnamon toasted almonds is very similar to Aztecs Grandmas Kitchen ,love this scent .TCS has the best Butt Naked, Monkey Farts &Lemongrass IMO, gosh & so many more. I have found most of their oils to be wonderful .I love the prompt shipping I always get with this co. I highly recommend Clothesline for fresh clean scent fans ,super strong:) You will not be disappointed
