KrisS , I have a suggestion for your PB ,try adding a little 4630 container blend to you wax. I think you will see some better results. If you are willing to work with paraffin ,4630 is a wonderful wax with great throw. I love to try different blends & you could go 50 PB 25 %4630 & 25% 4625 . I think this would make a awesome tart ,just a suggestion & I am no pro .I have tried different paraffin blends & happy with mine .I wanted to add soy to my line & willing to try the AKK 94 & see what happens. I will post results as soon as I get this wax & make a test batch . I see you are struggling with the PB & I truly believe you should not give up on your PB ,just try some blending & paraffin is a great helper . I know you can get where you want to be ,just keep trying

Yams LOL I guess this is called OBSESSIVE COMPULSIVE BEHAVIOR lmao. I guess we should start a treatment program for this & I guarantee you ,we would still buy these oils .I would need thousands of pounds of wax to get these oils finished & tested lol. I do try to make a effort to try them & get them sold ,I am just slow & have a lot going on .I use my wax room as a escape therapy room I love making wax melts& chunks. I have made some candles & had good results with 4630 paraffin. I have started a side project for myself & excited to see how this turns out .I will be making a huge Fish Bowl layered candle for the holidays with multi scents & colors. The fish bowl is huge & always wanted to try this out .The good part is I will be getting more oils gone & I am looking at a lot of new fall bargain scents ,never ends

Moonstar, I am still waiting for a response from Aztec. I was very polite in my message +I have been a great customer for a couple of years with this co. I love the specials & almost every oil I have purchased from them has worked out great for me. I was shocked when the results of this one & yes it is definitely a bad batch .I did suggest a refund would only be the right thing to do for all customers who purchased this faulty oil. I was counting on this scent for fall ,I may find this elsewhere ,but now a bit skeptic of any Cinnamon sugar Donut BBW type. I think I will move on & just find another donut scent for fall. I have a 1 lb bottle of Just Scent Jelly donut .I tested this one & weak throw in one wax blend I tried .I will try it in a different wax & hope for the best. I was wanting the cinnamon notes & jelly donut is no where near close. I will let you know as soon as they respond back. I am pushing for refunds for us all that purchased this oil. Poor me I bought a 1 lb bottle ,may have to toss it in the trash. I do not want to waste any more wax on testing this scent. I hope you change your mind on ordering from them ,they do have some amazing scents + great deals on intro prices. They also will ship flat rate & every month you can try 5 samplers for $1 each .I think I have 75 or more 1 oz Aztec samplers. If your wanting to try something ,let me know. I will be more than happy to send you samplers. I can never get all these into the wax. I have to many oils & not enough time. I have my usual 1 lb & 8 oz favorites from them as well. I personally love their crème brulee, apple jack & peel ,mulled cider, caribbean escape, lavender lemon ,pink sugar, Blue Hawaii, grandmas kitchen ,the list goes on & on lol. They have recently discontinued some I loved as well . The lollipop swirl was one of them , named it ribbon candy during the holidays ,no longer available .I am sure I can replace this one from another supplier . I will post as soon I get a response from them PM me if you want to try any samplers ,I can mail you some to test. I am thinking seriously about Yankee Autumn in the Park at $11 a lb intro price. I will continue to buy their oils

Use coupon code HELLOOCTOBER16 for a 10% discount. I also think Candlewic has some new ones as well. Aztec introduction price $11 a lb for Yankee type "Autumn in the Park". I have way to many oils & just cannot pass up a bargain lol .I thought I would let you all know about these new fall scents.

I ordered from Northstar recently .I love the Iced lemon biscotti ,worked for me with CW 129 paraffin, very strong HT .This scent IMO is very similar to Peaks Lemon pound cake . I was impressed with this oil & still have more to test. I have used CS as well ,great quality oils. I have never tried Lonestar & probably will not try this company. I have to many suppliers & need to cut back lol. I do recommend northstars Iced lemon biscotti ,amazing scent very good performance in paraffin

I purchased a lb of this oil at intro price & had major issues with this one. I added %6 to 1 lb of CW 129 & stirred for 2 full minutes .This was the only oil I ever had that leaked severely. I poured in silicone molds & was so shocked at the results. I had oil running leaking out of my tarts & it was a big mess to clean. I had to throw them in the trash. I tried again in 4630/4625 blend of 50/50 ,same issue. I love Aztec oils & honestly I wanted to give them a call & ask for full refund .I did not make the call & decided to go ahead & email them . I will post the response I receive as soon as they email me back. I was so disappointed in this one & love all the BBW dupes they offer. I will continue to buy oils from Aztec & just wanted to post my horrible results with this fragrance. Today intro price oil for Yankee type Autumn in The Park is on sale $11 per pound. I read the description & sounds like a great fall scent .I will be purchasing this one & will post results. It does appear they are aware of the problem with the Cinnamon donut , but in all honesty I think they should refund all customers that bought this scent. They have stated it should be added at a high temp. I added at 185 ,as I do with all my oils & the results were not good .Oil leaked out like a running faucet. I do not want to waste anymore wax with this fragrance . I will not put this company down & highly recommend their oils & they have great prices with monthly specials . In my opinion I do not think this was intentional on Aztecs part & everyone is entitled to mistakes. I am just posting my results with this particular fragrance. I am off to fill my cart with the 5 for 5 deals & grab the Autumn in The Park at special price

Moonstar ,Where do you get your palm & what kind do you use ? I know I have seen different types of palm wax & would be completely lost without some advise on this one. I order my paraffin from Candlewic & they do have some palm waxes. What would you suggest for palm blend ? Oh another question if you don't mind Do you think palm & paraffin would make a good tart ? I know I will have to do the math on the melting points as well. Thank you for your help. I am wanting to try some different wax blends with soy ,so may as well check out some palm too ,it never ends Lol I get request for soy & wanting to offer both paraffin & soy tarts .Many thanks for your suggestions & I appreciate your help. KrisS , I checked Fillmore website & Moonstar is correct on this AKK soy, they do carry the same wax. Aztec does not offer sampler bags & Fillmore does offer sampler bags .I believe it is 2lbs & the price is much lower. I decided to check this out before jumping in on a case from Aztec. I am not familiar with Fillmore & hate to add another supplier ,but I think I will check out the shipping & try this in the sampler bag instead. I have also read great reviews on some of their oils for the holidays .I want to try their cedar garland along with a few more. I was wandering if maybe your PB soy supplier is shipping you some bad batches ,just a thought. Have you tried a different supplier for your soy?

I will be happy to post results. Aztec website claims no frosting ,so hope to get good results .I have no experience with soy & want to give it a try. I have a lot of people ask for soy tarts & I use all paraffin. I am not real sure how long this wax has to cure ,but guessing at least 7 days. I wished I knew what soy this wax contains. It just says soy tart blend ,so keeping my fingers crossed. This is a new Aztec item & has no reviews ,so I am willing to check it out. I do love most of Aztec fragrance oils ,so I will give this wax a try. I will never know until I try right ? What issues are you having with the soy pillar blend?

I have no experience with soy,bees or palm .The palm & bees blend sounds interesting. I will check Fillmore& see what I can learn .I am almost tempted to try this new wax from Aztec & add some CW 129 . I have used The candlesource tart blend & like it as far as scent throw , just not to happy with the finished appearance. It also seems to have a crumbly texture to it & smudges cello bags . I do blend 4630 & 4625 with some scents that will not throw in the CW129. I think the Walmart tarts are made with 4794 ,a boom throw at first & then the scent sizzles away in about a hour. I may talk myself into trying this new wax & just see what happens .It is not offered in a sample bag ,so I would end up with 50lbs if I jump in. It would be a $54 chance I would have to take + shipping . I have read very good reviews on palm wax tarts & often wandered should I try this one too. I have always wanted to try soy & the reason I have not is I have no patience for cure time LOL

Aztec has a new soy tart blend wax .AAK 94 .Has anyone ever tried this wax ? I was shopping for oils & came across this one. I have 3 paraffin waxes I use for molded tarts. I have always wanted to try soy .Any suggestions for a good soy tart ? I do not like smudges on cello bags .I am open for suggestions

Grani L , I have that fragrance oil sickness to Lol .I will be more than happy to send you some Aztec Strawberry banana Smoothie to try .I have way to many oils in stock. I wish I were physically able to pour all these oils I have in a few days time ,not gonna happen .I am disabled & do what I can & hoard the rest I am placing a order with Indiana today ,looking for a replacement for TCS pumpkin pecan waffle. I hate to enable you even more ,but I just received some amazing scents from North Star . I have heard great reviews about Indiana oils , so might as well give their PPW a try along with some more fall scents.

I received my North star oils YAY! I think I will be adding them as a new supplier Loving BBW Cranberry Woods & Iced Lemon Biscotti .I still have more to get into the wax ,so far wonderful results. I have not put the PPW into my wax yet ,smells good OOB . I will keep you posted on my sampler scents I received from them.

Aztec now has another new scent BBW Cinnamon caramel Swirl .I am thinking about this one since the Cinnamon Sugar donut was a no go for me so far. The oil leaked after I made wax melts in CW 129 ,only used 1.2 oz per pound. I have only had this happen once before with a WSP oil. I may try the donut again in the 4630/4625 wax blend ,such a disappointment. Aztec is discontinuing 11 more fragrance oils as well. I thought you all may find a scent you like at a bargain price. I use their Lollipop swirl & hate to see it go. I use this one year round & in the fall winter season I call it Ribbon Candy ,sells out at the craft show everytime. It is a nice & strong in CW 129 ,I will miss this one. Jcandleattic your correct about Aztec discontinuing scents. I ordered a newly added scent a couple of months ago 'Guava' love love & now it is on the cut list . I am hoping the BBW Cinnamon donut is going to work in a different wax blend ,or I will be stuck with a lb of this stuff .I think it may be defective or something .I have never had this issue with Aztec oils before . I just wanted to let everyone know about the discontinued oils ,great prices & some of these are wonderful scents .I recommend the Lollipop swirl & Guava.

I have never used NG oils either ,but have a pending order with them. I am trying to replace TCS Salty Caramel .I ordered their Sea salty Caramel ,along with Tangerine Dreams. I am looking for some TCS replacement oils . I am so happy your candle was successful.

I have never ordered from NG & will be soon. I am going to try their Tangerine Dreams & Sea salt Caramels. I am looking for replacements for TCS in these scents. I ordered PPW from Northstar & my order should arrive tomorrow. I agree with Trappeur , this scent was AMAZING from TCS. I am going to miss TCS. I did receive my PPW sample from Flaming & super strong OOB , light throw in 129. I will try again 4630/4625 blend .I make wax melts. I am pulling my hair out trying to replace the PPW & Salted caramel from TCS ,both are BBW dupes. I will post results from Northstar PPW .I also ordered 7 more samplers from this company. I have never tried their oils ,so hoping for the best. I have also put in other orders for the PPW from different suppliers. I will have to say goodbye to the PPW if I cannot find the one I am looking for. This scent was so strong & no kidding my neighbors across the street knew when I was pouring this one. I have had many recommendations ,so still not giving up. I will let you know if I find a blueberry cobbler as good as TCS .I have about 5 of the TCS scents I am trying to replace. I highly recommend Butt Naked from The Candlesource , very strong & a wonderful aroma. My search continues for my 5 beloved TCS oils. I am way over spending in shipping cost trying to replace these oils. I will say it's well worth it , if I can replace them. The blueberry cobbler is on my search list as well. Belinda , Candlesource has a wonderful Pumpkin brulee .It is super strong & so far my fav pumpkin scent. I know you like bakery scents & this one is a perfect pumpkin scent IMO. I have used it in 4630/4625 & the 129 as well . The throw is great in both wax blends .

Hi Pam ,I am a newbie as well. I am also disabled with spinal stenosis& fibromyalgia. I know how you feel going thru the chronic pain. I have good days & bad. I lost both parents & my brother within a 2 year time frame . It has caused me to have severe depression & anxiety .Life has been a struggle for me & I to wanted to do something to pass the time. I started making wax melts ,chunks & other unique items. It helps me keep my mind busy. I do make candles occasionally ,but mainly stick with the wax melts. I love making tarts & candles are such a challenge. There is so much more to learn about candle making & you are in the right place. I to have been reading this for a while & decided to join. This board is full of pros & they can be very helpful ,you can learn so much here. I can tell you my favorite wax for candle making has been the 4630 & zinc wicks. I like it because it is a one pour wax ,takes color well & has great scent throw. I know the wicking has been my biggest challenge. Each scent has to be tested & every oil differs .You are in the right place to learn & the members here are so helpful & kind. I admire your ambition & never give up on anything you want to do.
