  1. Thanks! Now I'll have to take advantage of their FO sale too! LOL! Buying wick bars are just as good excuse as any I guess )
  2. Is one wick bar better at keeping a wick straight? I have a few from Peak that are plastic and I like them for holding the wick in the middle but they don't look like they would be very good at keeping a wick straight. I've decided to test with zinc wicks. Thanks!
  3. Is it Serendipity from JS? I think it's really sweet too. I've never melted it (that I remember anyway) but I have poured it and I just sniffed a clamshell with that scent the other day and thought it was almost sickeningly sweet. It might work better for lotion or soap maybe.
  4. I agree with Karen! Although I've never used the 4625/4627 mix myself, I've smelled some of hers and they're great! I have used 4625/4630 and 4625/6006 with good results too. I think either way you can't go wrong!
  5. Oh wow! Thanks! I'll have to remember some of those the next time I order from them.
  6. You're right annie123. I've had some really weak oils from JS as I'm sure most here have. Occasionally though, she has a really great one! I think for some reason I'm just drawn to her website. I think it's the way she describes everything. It just sounds so yummy! LOL! I took a basket to work today and they were all saying they could smell them so hopefully it's just my nose!
  7. Those are absolutely gorgeous! How do you make those? I'm sitting here trying to figure out how you put all of that together. I'm sure you can tell I've never made any soap! LOL! Beautiful work!
  8. Congratulations! Awesome news! Now I'm sitting here with my wheels spinning like a hamster in his cage wondering who I can get to let me do a home party for them! LOL!
  9. Thanks SuzyK! I feel better about taking mine to work with me now. I was really worried!
  10. Do you ever get to where you smell of your tarts and can't smell them? I got in several FO's from JS and Backwoods that have had good reviews but the CT is very light in the clamshells. There are a couple of coffee scents and honey gingerbread from BW. I was expecting them to all be stronger, especially since I have other coffee scents from JS that the ct is stronger. I haven't tried honey gingerbread before but was also expecting a stronger throw. I'm sure I need to melt them though to get a true idea of how they'll be. I've been mixing 4625 with 6006 at 50/50. I know waxes with soy need to cure but this would still be mostly paraffin. Maybe it's just my nose! I've been sniffing so many things here lately! I think I'm going to re-pour in a different wax and see if that makes a difference. Maybe I'll try 4794 alone when my order comes in. I know it's probably a dumb question! Just wondered if anyone else ever had the same experience. I'm sure my nose is probably fried! Thanks for any input!
  11. I wish I had seen this before I placed my order ( I didn't think about apple strudel because I have that FO from Cajun. Do you think it's better than Cajun's apple strudel? I may have to try a sample next time I place an order! I'm sure I'll find a reason soon! LOL!
  12. bugtussie, I have bought from BCS several times and they ship really fast but I've yet to like very many of their oils except Sissies sugar cookie. Maybe I'm just not ordering the good ones. I was thinking of ordering from BCN or Aztec only because I think I might like their oils better. Which oils from BCS do you like? Thanks!
  13. I'm needing to order some wax and will probably order from one of these companies. Wondered if there are any FO's from either place that's just a must have! TIA!
  14. Amen SuzyK! I really hope things work out for you! I'm so sorry this has happened to you. We all get ideas and inspiration from other peoples creations but this is different. Maybe she'll have a change of heart and realize the wrong she has done and truly feel sorry about it. We can only hope. I believe because of your good work ethics, talent and experience you will still come out on top but I also know this has to be upsetting. I really hope all the best for you in the future. I wish I could give you some good advice but I really don't know much about the business side of things.
  15. I agree with Karen! I really hope this all gets worked out for everyone.
  16. Hello, my name is Belinda and I'm addicted to FO's. LOL! Nope! Won't get any help here that's for sure! We're all enablers! But what a sweet addiction it is!
  17. Thanks! Maybe one day I'll be able to do some that look that good! They really do look great!
  18. Wow! Those are awesome! What wax do you use if you don't mind me asking. I've been wanting to try to make chunks but haven't figured out exactly what to do, but I've only tried a couple of times. Again, love your work!
  19. Daystar has a great blackberry jam butter cookie FO! Everyone likes her buttercream too. I personally like Elements Buttercream but DS gets great reviews. Northstar has a great creme brûlée. Get the one that says Mike's creme brûlée. I have a few more of their oils but haven't put them in wax but they smell strong OOB. You can't go wrong with pretty much anything you order from AH/RE. Their toasted marshmallow is great! I wear it as a body spray. They have a great apple pie and also birthday cake. I also like pineapple and brown sugar. Right off the top of my head I can't think of anything else but I don't think you'll be disappointed with anything you get from them! Have fun!
  20. The only one I have tried on your list is sweet pumpkin. It's ok on CT but I haven't melted it yet. Let me know how you like gingerbread village!
  21. I know what you mean Karen! It seems I have to try several vendors just to have a few good oils. I had thought about giving them a try but may not after ChrisR's experience with them. Sigh! The obsession continues! LOL!
  22. Karen M, That is too funny! That's a knee slapper!
