  1. I use the cupcake liners. They don't cost alot and you can get in the dollar stores. Wax left over from old testers and miscellanouse candles. great way to get rid of left overs.
  2. I also do dried florals. I use www.driedflowerstogo.com. I recently saw them at a craft show and their stuff is beautiful. I had bought alot of stuff from them and ask them if I could leave their until I finished shopping. I gave her one of my cards to keep with my stuff and she replied, Oh my, I have one of your waxed bears. This show was about 45 miles away from me. I thought that was kinda of cool.
  3. When heating wax to top off votives, make sure you add water to double boiler. Don't pour water into pour pot. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. Done this more than once when distracted.
  4. Those are beautiful. I also do these. I got my orange slices thru Atlantic Spice and they turned dark color. Did you soak them in lemon juice? Yours are just the perfect shade of orange. Hope you sell a bunch.
  5. Yep, I know just what you mean. Just hate to order l bottle from one and l bottle from another. Fresh Floral Linen is the only one I use from there. I've had 74 bear orders in the past 2 weeks. Guess I will look and see what else of Natures Garden I can add. Just got my order from there last week too. Thanks
  6. I have to order fresh floral linen from Just Scents. However I have been doing bears to beat the band and now I need apple cinnamon too. I usually use Natures Garden for this one and was wondering if Just Scents apple cinnamon is just as strong. Would'nt change my candle scents just for this order of bears. Trying to save on shipping.
  7. I know these are not molds, but they would make a 4" taper.http://www.candlewic.com/store/category.aspx?q=cTaper+Dipping+Equip.
  8. I would think the jar would crack before the label burns.
  9. I was wondering who has the best prices on the little brown spray bottles for refresher oils? Going to start offering them with my bears. TIA
  10. I am now testing the pumpkin too. 1 oz per pound is too much for my wax. A little leaked out and is on the bottom. But it smells great. No crystals though.
  11. Wow, Robin everything looks great. Beautiful background. Glad you did good.
  12. I prefer the short hair. They are alot fastier to comb out and don't get all squashed down taking them back and forth to shows.
  13. Does anyone know who sells the warning labels for the 6 x 6 3 wicker. I have searched all morning and can't find a thing.
  14. Great. I will try the .net. Thank you.
  15. I went to order wicks this morning on their site. It says website expired. Anybody know anything about this. I've got to order some premier wicks quick!! I usually order from them and get my wicks the next day.
  16. With mine you can just lift them right out, as they are not attached. Just fit right in the hole. You can put in your double boiler or if you are melting in your presto, just pull out after wax has melted. If you have used a votive or tealight in it just make sure it is upright, so any debris don't go into wax.
  17. If you have alot of older customers, their White Diamonds is the best. I also love their Warm Vanilla Sugar.
  18. That looks great. That white on the bottom looks like muffin liner paper. Just like it shoud be there. Looks yummy!!
  19. Beautiful. I love them. Chunkies are a blast to make. After you get all the chunks done that is. I am sure they will love them. Thats a very nice thing you are doing.
  20. Oh my goodness Teri, thank God you reacted so quickly. How scary. Glad she is dong well. I love the look of your labels. Very classy.
  21. I have to start on tealights now for my wholesale accounts. I have alot of this wax left and was wondering if anyone uses this for tealights? If so what series of wicks do you recommend? I am going to use metal tealight cups. Been putting this off for years. I know I will have more wax on counter than in those little cups.
  22. Patchouli would'nt work for any of my friends or family. Not our favorite, but I have to make it for others. I have a customer that buys 16oz apothecary jars buy the case, and 6 of them are vanilla. For that very reason. They are a very happy couple. LOL
  23. Yep, its messy!! But the throw is awesome. Guess that is the most important thing for me. I slice down the bag and then cut from corners with a electric knife. Best way I have found over the years. Still takes awhile though.
  24. Thanks all. Got quite a few to choose from. Going to go to the fragrance finder to see how many I can get from one supplier.
