These two are totally differant. Peppermint is very strong. Makes a great mixer though. I have done a few bears with the peppermint and 2 years later you can still smell them. Buttermint smells just like the real thing. Can't go wrong with either.

I make all my own. Blueberries, strawberries,cherries,apples,peaches,etc... It does takes alot of time tough, but I devote one day to them. You can put silicone molds in frig and they cool pretty quick. Just a big investment for the molds at first.

This is my 3rd 16oz. bottle because I do use it in grubbies. I know my temp is correct too as I use 2 thermomaters. May have to try adding some soy to this one by the sounds of things. I really like this scent as it is a really nice one for fall but sometimes just does'nt seem to be worth all the hassle. Maybe I will try another supplier for my jars and see if that helps. Thanks everyone. I thought I had tried all the little tips that sometimes help.

Just wondering if anyone else has a problem with this mixing in wax. Even at 1/2oz pp it still will not mix totally. I have heated wax to 200 and still leaves brown oil in bottom of pouring pot. I even tried heating oil first, still unacceptable results!! I am using 4627 now but even in J223 it would'nt mix wither. Guess I have to give up on this and just do grubbies with it. It does mix in piller wax better. I just don't get it. Are all Amish Harvest like this or only Peaks. I really need to find another supplier for this scent.

I always do a couple in the fall that are two day'ers. They provide security though. I am doing a 3 days show thats 70 miles away and we will be spending the weekend sleeping in van. This one is in a building that will be locked at 5'oclock. I have never had a problem(knocking on wood).

I know what you mean. I have been testing this and not happy with wicking. Down to CD10 in JJ with a vanilla crunch FO and still burns too fast for me. Did have good cold throw after a week burned after 2 weeks and hot throw is just OK. Could be just this FO does not work well with soy. FO added at 180 because it is one of the heavier oils.Nothing to write home about. I don't know what made me want to work with soy anyways. If it ain't broke, don't fix it, is usually my moto. My customers are happy the way my candles are now. God bless all the people that gets it to work for them, I guess I don't have the patience for it.

If you are making a bunch of tarts and want to store them without loosing the scent, you can try some of the plastic shoe boxes or other containers found in the dollar store. Store one scent per container. Make sure on the bottom of container it has a #5.

I also use the glass plates for large bears and black metal tins for smaller ones.

I recieved one also. I will be ordereing some next month for my customers to hopefully write up their orders, or maybe sign checks for candles.LOL
