Well my first batch of soap is a mess. The lye is Potassim Hydroxide instead of Sodium Hydroxide. Oils would not stay mixed. Is this the problem? Making candles is so much easier for me. If you are suppose to use sodium hydroxide why would they sell the other kind with soap ingredients? Setting here scratching my head.

I found it to be just the opposite. 44-32 is burns hotter. At least in my candles.

When my votive pins stick, I set in the frig for a couple of minutes. They come right off.

Thanks everyone for your suggestions. I have always covered everything when in only my tent. This time I was in my tent, in their tent. It was huge. got one more show outside and you can bet the tarps are going with me.

ISO a supplier for Square Mason

My last order that I picked up from TVG Glass was the block letters. Before, they have always been the script. I wish they would of told me that they changed styles. -
I did a fairly large show this past weekend. The weather turned cold at night. It got down to 36 degrees before morning. You could see your breath by 10:00 when the show ended at night. Well, in the morning when I opened my tent, my jars were all wet. My 16oz apothecary jars were fine but the 12 oz masons are going to have to be all relabeled. For the life of me, can't figure out why just one size jar would do this.

OK, I am not the only one. Will now go back to mixing my own. I really liked the scent of this though. Maybe I can use in in tarts and diffusers. Will try that next.

I am testing this now in my bathroom. No hot throw at all. Great cold throw but I can't smell a thing when burning. I am very shocked ,as this is the only oil from them that has done this. I use 4627 and 51Z wicks in a 12 oz mason. Going to have to try another wick. Any suggestions?

Does anyone know if they discontinued their mason jars? I have always gotten them there. Now they are gone.

Another thing that helps is to put your pine cones in the freezer for awhile. This has help me to speed things up. If wax is cool enough, I only have to dip them once. My husband never knows what he going to find in the freezer anyone.:rolleyes2

Just wondering how everyone is packaging their square mason jars sets now that you can't find any wooden crates. Trust me I have looked all over for them. I have a person who sells at her work and last year did over 200 bears for me.

For anyone that sells the 1 oz bottles for refresher oils, how do you display these. I know if I sit them on the table they will be knocked over. I m going to leave one of each scent unsealed so they may sniff. My set up is mostly primitive and I just can't seem to think of anything. I don't want them in a basket to get all mixed up. I was thinking of a piece of wood with holes cut so that bottle can set in.
