SatinDucky
I finally got my rose molds. They are wonderful. These are just for wick testing but I couldn't resist playing with colors

SatinDucky
Thanks ya'll Now if I can get the wicking down and figure out the right temps to pour the base color at I'll be tickled pink...lolThe molds are from vanyulay and they're terrific to work with. The company and the molds! www.vanyulay.com/store/pc/viewPrd.asp?idcategory=28&idproduct=
SatinDucky
Oh, no, there aren't wick holes. Since floaters need tabbed wicks I use the same method as my other silicone molds. I poke an initial hole with a straight pin, then stick a rod in it. I use lengths of cut clothes hanger wire, from 4" to 10" depending on the mold. I use steel wool on the rods to remove any varnish or whatever it is that coats them. And if the rod doesn't stand straight (which is often since I rarely get the holes perfect) I use a popcicle stick with a hole in it to steady it
