sjconner
I have been ordering WSP's Black Raspberry Vanilla. It is now waaayyyy too expensive at $33/lb. It smells so good and soaps like a dream in CP (no acceleration or discoloration). Can anyone suggest a replacement? Thanks!Susan
Jewls819
Bittercreek North has Black Raspberry Vanilla @ $15 per pound and I smells really good to me oob. I will be testing it tomorrow in my candles and melts. My soaper friend took a sample with her to make some CP soap but she will not have time to make it till sometime next week. I will let you know. Wessex
Of course NG carries it. I use it in Palm and Soy and it sells pretty well. Have no idea what it would do in soap. I like the scent, but have never compared it with the one you use, or Bert's.Cheers,Steve

Faerywren
I, too, loved WSP's BRV and will miss it. I have NG's and the Candlemaker's Store versions and, while good, they aren't the same.

queensh
Oh no I love WSP Black Raspberry Vanilla..it smells heavenly in soap and bath bombs. I made some tarts with it last week and they smell awesome too. I love their Green Tea and Cucumber as well and really don't want to find a replacement but these price hike are concerning me. I might try Peaks BRV when I run out.
dee263
I'm a Peak's BRV user, too, in CP soap, bath bombs, body sprays, candles and tarts. It smells great and works beautifully in all of them! You can't go wrong with this one
judymoody
AHRE and Peak are both great in CP soap; Peak is a little stronger and sweeter to my nose. AHRE a little tarter and greener. But they aren't all that different. Neither morph, accelerate, or discolor.
tlc26
Peaks for me too. I soap it but I do use td, never tried without the td. But it soaps like a dream and smells wonderful. Good throw in candles too.
