pleasureridgecandles
Target carries them as well. I know I saw them at Target probably a year ago. They may have been there longer and I just never noticed.

pleasureridgecandles
Meijer is similiar to a super walmart. It's in Indiana, Ohio, Ky and I'm not sure where else they may be. They sell everything from groceries, to clothes to gas and anything in between.

bah67
I believe they are a publicly traded company, so they have to satisfy their stockholders.
CandleMakinCutiePie
I don't think it's because they are hurting for money,it's that they are greedy sob's!They'll take a buck from anyone willing to give it.The people who are shopping at a Meijer might not be shopping at the local mall. They think they need everyones moolah!! Candybee
I've seen them at my local Target store here too. Prices seemed a bit lower but I assumed it was because it was during the holidays and the store was offering discounts on holiday items and these were christmas scents. They did smell fabulous thou! NaturallyTru
Meijer started in Greenville MI by Hendrick Meijer as a little grocery store. Hendrick once was a barber in town. Now is a massive company. Hendrick's businesses had a trend of burning down and then he rebuilt in a bigger lot. :tiptoe: Probably coincidence but gets hinted at here by old timers. nursenancy
Someone gave me a Yankee candle for Christmas - Balsam & Cedar. I didn't know whether to laugh or cry when I opened it. Cajones...but that's a different story. I could picture him in the store - "Well, she likes candles" - DUH!!! It's the thought that counts :rolleyes2At first I thought it smelled really good. I burned it for awhile - it gave me a headache, and just pissed me off in general.I gave it to my sons to burn in their apartment. I did notice that there is ALOT of hangup.. You'd think that with all of their experience, they could solve that problem. Just had to share that. :smiley2: A little off topic, I know...
