toadallysoy
Here are a few of my product photos. I've thought about doing away with the cloth under the covers of the jelly jars, to save a little time, but can't decide. My customers seem to love the look of the jars with the cloth. Any thoughts? toadallysoy
Thank you Jo. I'm just thinking of time savers now that I've picked up a couple more retail accounts.
kandlenutz
I like the cloth look! I was putting them on some of my JJ, but b/c of time I dont do it anymore, unless its a gift or something like that. So, I know what ya mean, about "saving time"
toadallysoy
Thank you! My covers have a daisy design cut-out on top & I do not use liners, therefore, folks can smell the candle scent without removing the lids.

toadallysoy
I like the cloth 2. I also love your company name...so cute =)Thank you! I finally decided on one after weeks of lying awake at night...running company names through my head...coming up with a name & then finding out on google that someone else was already using it. Almost as frustrating as perfecting a container candle! Alot of people don't get the "toad" thing..glad you did!
leisa2003
I like your business name,..and I love the picture of the toad on the flower. CUTE!! I love all your candles,..do you not color them? I have been thinking about not coloring mine.Leisa
toadallysoy
Thank you for your nice comments. No, I do not use any color. Since I use an all natural soy wax & all natural EO's, I decided to stick with the natural color as well. Customers do not seem to mind at all that they are not colored. carmen3032
your products are beautiful. love the name. I especially like the candle in the can. is that an actual tin can or is that a special container you ordered to burn candles in?
Candybee
I think the cloth looks cute. I've seen it used before with homemade jelly and jams.I thought about doing the cloth at one time but decided not to because of all the craft shows and markets I do. If you are planning to sell at craft shows where you are packing and repacking your candles you may have some problem with the cloth getting beat up looking. It happens with ribbons, bows, hangtags, etc. So I only 'dress' up candles during certain times of the year.
toadallysoy
your products are beautiful. love the name. I especially like the candle in the can. is that an actual tin can or is that a special container you ordered to burn candles in?It's an actual tin can. There are some old posts on here that explain how to "antique" the tin cans by putting them in a hot oven, but I chose to spray paint them instead. I want to try spraying a primitive heart stencil on one, just to see how it looks.

I have packed, unpacked & re-packed for craft shows and haven't had a problem with the cloth yet. I have to learn to not bring so much with me to shows! Hanging tags are another story, so I don't use them any longer.
TwinMom
I love the tin! I am outta the loop...where do you get the tins to make candles?
toadallysoy
Jenn,Thank you. Recycled tin cans that I spray painted. You can antique them in the oven as well.Donna
Misty
What do you do about the sharpness of the inner edge of the can, so there isn't a danger of being cut? I love that look.
toadallysoy
You can use the type of can opener that takes the entire top off the can, no sharp edges.

SheilaRae
Nice I love the tin can candles. A great way to recycle Love the name of your company too.
arw1019
I think the cloth is cute! I say keep it. There are enough candles on the market that are just plain glass.
TwinMom
Do you use a glue or silicone or something for the tins? I have some tins but they look like they could leak when I pour them and am wondering if you put anything to secure the inside edges
deb426
Mine have never leaked. I use veggie tin cans so they would be sealed to keep the veggies in. If you are in doubt, fill it with water first and see if it leaks.
EnvyCandles
I know what you mean about time saving... but, I think the look with the cloth is much more appealing than just the container! I love that country- bumpkin look! Depending on just how long it takes to do this, consider that it sets you apart from the other plainer candles! Just my thoughts...
