Hi, I am trying to put wax tarts in zip lock bags. The wax I use is very soft so it s catching on the zip lock part & is making the bag look ugly because of the wax smearing. Does anyone have a suggestion on how to get the tarts into the bags without smearing? Thanks

Hi, I have a probably about 10 or more bottles of fragrance oil that are rancid. I just want to throw them away but I don't think I can throw them in the trash can you please tell me how to properly throw them away. Thank you

ICS does not smell like SB I don't think I have ever have smelled a scent close to that...AH/RE now carries KY scents

OMG that is crazy! My husband works with acid when he fixes industrial batteries/He told me to use baking soda because it will neutralize the lye . Sorry that happened...i d hope candlemakers would tell you to throw the whole box away & send a new order because I d think that would be impossible to get clean?

Here is what i used: Lard 4oz Coconut Oil 4oz Olive Oil 8oz I was reading some bars can last for years & not go bad...I just got out a batch I made a few months ago & it s kind of off too? The plastic bag is just folded over & I use a piece of tape to hold the fold down.

Thanks for the replys...This is driving me crazy...I thought if a soap went rancid the soap would have orange spots on it...I understand some fragrance oils can not smell so great in soaps...What I don't understand is that they smelled good at 1st now they dont???I let them cure for months then I put them in plastic cello bags do you think it has to do something w/ the bag?

It s the scents that I used smells off...does that mean the soap is bad or the scent went bad?

Using lard in a soap recipe does it make soap go bad? i found an old stash today probably a few years old & most of my bars smell rancid...Should I be adding a preservative to keep this from happening?

Bettie is very rude. As to why Loren has her deal w/ people, I really don't no. A lot of their oils are great but if I could get them elsewhere for the same price, I would because dealing w/ Bettie is very uncomfortable considering I pick up my orders from her.
