jennhalcyon
Since I can't get Astolite V locally anymore, and I don't want to pay shipping charges, I am thinking of switching to 4794. I know some people on the board use it for their tarts and votives. Do you love it??? Hate it??? How is the throw?TIA!Jenn
AngelaVA
Love it. Throws great. Easy to wick. I would definitely suggest this wax.
sudsnwicks
It works great. I have been using this wax with good results. Be aware it isn't a one pour though, unlike V.
Jcandleattic
LOVE IT!! It's probably one of the easiest waxes I've worked with, and the throw on it is really good. I think you will like it once you start playing around with it.

topofmurrayhill
I'll bet they damned well love it in Mexico too.
jennhalcyon
Well, if Canada and Mexico say so, then I bet it would work here in Pennsylvania! Thanks everyone...going to pick up a slab and give it a whirl!
SatinDucky
I loved it too, it's just too costly to carry 4 or 5 different waxes. 4 is expensive and room consuming enough
Margaritamama
I like it too. Easy to work with and throws great!!!!

YooperCandles
I also use 4794 and love it! I tried Astrolite V because it is considered a one-pour and hated it. IMO the scent throw and burn of the 4794 is far superior to the AstroV. JMOPam

Spellkast
I think I must be the only one on this board that uses astorlite! I liked the look of it better...the IGI had this weirdness that I didn't like...when I packaged it up, if it got handled, it almost looked like stuff was flaking off of it. The astorlite held really true to form...Soooo I use the IGI for my bears (since scent throw is a LITTLE better) and it's almost transparent when dried, but for my votives and tarts, I use astorlite. Ok...I'm ready for my stoning now!
