lindanelson
These are both Patchouli Honey and palm wax. Just ignore the speck on the top of the heart one. Of course, the only picture that looked decent had it. It's just some wax that came off the wick.

lindanelson
How tall is the heart? They look good!Thank youThe heart is 3" tall. The candle measures 3 3/4 x 3 x 3.It's a booger to get the wick right. I try to get it more towards the point of the heart than the m part. Candybee
Very nice pillars! I love patch honey. I have a lb bottle I am hoarding til patch prices go down.
lindanelson
I know...I've been sitting on all my different Patchouli's for a while now.I thought now would be a good time to make stuff with it. I hate Patchouli, so I don't know why I all of a sudden want to make stuff with it.Chocolate Patchouli, Raspberry Patchouli, and plain Patchouli. I also mix the chocolate and raspberry together. I call it Choc Raspberry Patch.

Alajane
These are gorgeous! But since I have no experience with palm wax, I'm very curious--what is the round area in the heart-shaped candle? I would have thought it was the re-set melt pool, except that the wick is still white so I assume it hasn't been burned. Inquiring minds want to know......Jane
lindanelson
Thank you all for the nice compliments.what is the round area in the heart-shaped candle? I don't heat my molds before I pour. So, I think that is what causes that. Hot wax hitting cold metal.
Jeana
I really like those! Such a rustic spin on palm candles. The colors are great. Can I ask where you got the spiral mold? Also what type of color do you use? How much did it take to get the bottom that dark?
lindanelson
Thank you. I got both molds from Let It Shine in Seattle. I use liquid candle dye...4 to 6 drops brown with 1 drop black.

Candybee
I had to come back and take a second look at your candles. I just love the rustic look of them and the color is perfect for patch honey. I was burning one of my patch honey container candles and it reminded me of your beautiful candles!
Trappeur
Absolutely gorgeous Linda and that mold is to die for...I am very into rustic.....and those colors are just awesome. On the heart, the bottom part looks like black...Is it or is it a very dark brown? I've been admiring pillars for eons now...I'm going to get into making them one day...I know its a whole different ball game but I just drool when ever I see unique one of a kind creations and yours certainly is!
