Candybee
I have a friend that does the dipped TP. She sells a bundle of the stuff at local craft shows. But then she does hers very creatively and they are beautiful. She sells them as bathroom fresheners and people love them! Go figure. 2rottndogs
I never saw the point in dipping tp, I still don't see the point and I'm amazed it sells. More power to those that want to mess with it.Kim
Darbla
It just seems tacky to me.
Kaylors Kreations
It's probably just like momma always said.. never underestimate peoples ability to surprise you... Just look in people's cart at the dollar store next time your in and see what they're buying.Artfully finished TP MUST be better than some of that stuff! Rebecca
I guess if you dip it enough times and build up the wax heavy, don't say what it's actually made of people probably would never realize....but I just can't envision my kitchen counters covered with wet, smelly TP...LOL:tongue2:

I would think that it was made to go in the bathroom to use as an air freshener for the bathroom LOL They dip paper towels for the Kitchen counter LOLSue Ann
bob1177
When I read this post I thought what the heck I will give it a try. Well never again. What a mess. It came out OK and smells great and the war party liked it but once is enough. I will stick to candles for now.Bob
tattered silk
Toilet paper and tampons. What next. There is a post on here where a lady used tampons for fire starters. Anything is possible. :undecided
topofmurrayhill
Are we being honest?Dipping TP in wax produces about the same soggy look as having it fall into the bowl, except a nicer color and fragrance. After decorating the thing with plastic flowers, you can put a photo in the dictionary to illustrate the word tacky.People more often go broke overestimating the public's taste rather than underestimating it. I never doubted for a moment that it sells. I'd rather go broke.
anceproducts
Honestly, I tried doing the waxed dipped TP this morning, going for the look that someone else linked at WSP with the whipped wax on top...did not work out for me. may try again another time, but I was not happy with the look and I didnt think it smelled/held the fragrance as well as my bears and rose petals etc. But some of them look cute! Ive seen some that look almost like bundt cakes.
so-soy
This rates right up there with that plastic canvas crap! Tacky indeed! Yikes, but hey, those that find it appealing more power to ya! Just don't invite Oprah over to your house if you have all those fake flowers all over it! LMAO!
citygrl707
These are very easy to make , i make them for family and they love them. Just heat your wax like your going to make a candle add your frangrance and dipp the toilet paper in it. I use a metal pot you can get off ebay under ten dollars. I put it on foil to dry then decorate with flowers or lace. Wrap and your ready to go.
