The plain ones are 16 oz. and the holiday ones are 18 oz.http://www.flickr.com/photos/berrycreekcandles/1922641248/http://www.flickr.com/photos/berrycreekcandles/1922636012/http://www.flickr.com/photos/berrycreekcandles/1922630316/http://www.flickr.com/photos/berrycreekcandles/1922624822/
Candle Makin Momma
I saw the holiday ones but wasn't sure if they were thick enough for a candle. Have you tested it? Did it do ok?
berrycreekcandles
yep I tested it and it did fine, in fact I left it burn all day and had no problems!

dcroome2005
Looks good. I had to double wick my holiday ones. They have them every year and I like them!
berrycreekcandles
I used a HTP 126 wick and it did fine, what wick did you use?
kimmeroo
I love the 2nd jars!!!! Wow!!! What size jars are they? I love the color of that candle also!!! Kimmeroo:cheesy2:
erinmfritz
Those look great! I've been wondering about buying the jars from the dollar store, you can order larger amounts and they will ship to the store for free. That would save a bunch on shipping. Does anyone else do this? msmeredith
I absolutely love the second one. So upscale to me. Good find.

berrycreekcandles
Thanks everyone! The second one is a 16 oz. I have not bulk ordered from they but I may now, I wanted to test them first before I did that!
HeavenScentU
Did you buy the coffee mugs there too? I like them all. You did a great job.
ladysj
Those are beautiful. Was it a regular dollar store or a dollar tree?
larrycat
Love the 2nd ones...which $ Store?? So many of them now. Thanks!
idahospud
I love the holiday ones. I have done them every year at Christmas time, but I always have to double wick mine. Very nice job!
heirloomoriginals
I like both. I wanted to pick up some of the holiday ones, but didn't think I would have time to test them. I do have similar ones from a LONG time ago that are the same shape and they did burn nice, double wicked. I may pick some up so I have some to start testing with early next year.Steph
berrycreekcandles
Yep that's where I got my mugs from too! It is a Dollar Tree, the only thing about the plain jars is the lid has another candle company name on it which didn't matter to me since my labels covers it. I am a WAHM so I test all day! darlatoms
Hi I like the 2nd one. I picked some up. What size wick did you use and type of wax. Thank-you
berrycreekcandles
I use GB 444 and a HTP 126 wick
SoyCandleQueen
I really like those christmas ones. I don't use HTP's though. Would an eco 8 work in that? Is there a comparison chart someone could point me too to find this answer? I like the tea mug too. How did you make the marshmallows though? And what scent is it? Thanks.Dawn

Candle Makin Momma
No an eco 8 wouldn't work. Maybe if you double wicked with an eco 8.
berrycreekcandles
yeah you probablly want to double wick, they are scented in hot cocoa and the marshmallows I made with a mini marshmallow mold.
