  1. My wax has gone up each time I went to get some!! :undecided Yeah the high gas prices are driving everything up, and the soybean price is at an all time high too.
  2. My soy wax has been increasing about every 2 weeks.
  3. Oh those are so darling!! Great job and what a great idea!!
  4. Red is so hard! I started just putting a drop of brown in with it for the rich red. Liquid dye from Bittercreek.
  5. I use to use EZ Soy all the time. I also noticed that difference in the texture and my candles were not burning properly either. I did eventually switch waxes. Wish I knew more to help you out.
  6. Hi Kellie, I have used a quite a few of their oils and they are great! The Kudzu Blossom was wonderful. I also used their Buttercream, I'll be Home For Christmas, Karma Kazi and Etheral Dreams. Their shipping is super fast also! They do have some very unique scents. I have also heard Sock It to Me cake is wonderful also HTH.
  7. I got mine from Day Star. here's the link. http://www.daystarsupplies.com/i-o.htm
  8. Congrats!! I think everyone can agree on how hard and frustrating it can be!!
  9. Thanks so much for your help girls!! I really appreciate it.
  10. Hi, and yes, thanks for the response.....Using the same oils. I realize that alot of the same questions get asked over and over, and I did do a search didn't find the answer I needed, so I am sorry about that. Actually testing 2 candles right now that are giving off a great throw now. After I got the melt pool they are doing great. My question was if I should be adding the fo at a hotter temperatue. That's all.
  11. wow, guess I should just throw in the towel at this huh......sorry I even asked.
  12. I did a search and didn't find anything about the question I have!! I am currently using EZ Soy CB. I purchased my candle business and kept all the recipes the same as the old owner did. However lately for some reason I cannot get a good hot throw off my candles or tarts. THe old owner was adding fo at 125 degrees. I continued to do the same. But from everything I am reading here, perhaps fo needs to be added at a hotter temp?? I use 1 and a half ounces per pound of wax. But I just cannot smell my candles on hot throw? anybody have any good advice for me! thanks so much. I just want to cry!!
