sharyl55
Thanks for your kind words. The shell 'cane is a hexagon (6 sided). Those seem to be more popular than the round or square shell 'canes. The hurricanes aren't scented but they come with a scented votive to be burned inside. Cindy picked the shell 'cane. I love making them. Off to find more shells.

sharyl55
Donita, can you sit on the shoreline, close your eyes and pretend it's the ocean? Thanks for the tip on raising the pour temp for the shell canes.

Handmade
They all look beautiful, but I really like the last one.Your candles are very nice . I want to ask you a question . At the bottom of the candle I can see that you have used sand .IS this sand real ?And in which temperature you pour this kind of candle ?ThanksHandmade

suzanneg
yea really beautiful! Yea I was wondering on the sand too! How do you make these? (like i need to learn something new )
sharyl55
Thank you for your kind comments. The shell 'cane isn't as good as Donita's but I'm working on my technique. Yes it is real sand at the bottom. I poured this one at 220. Still playing with pour temps.
