Recycled Pillars

Recommended Posts

I had some partially-burned mottles lying around that I made as FO testers. Rather than let them go to waste I decided to melt them down and make some new candles, maybe as giveaways for friends or whatever.

There are 3 photos that I'll put in separate posts so you don't have to click links to see them.

This is a bonus mottle, not actually recycled. It's the same clean scent as the white and blue layer. Mottles seem prone to randomly get pinholes at the top, depending on the condition of the mold. I've been experimenting with ways to ensure perfect results every time and I think I've got it.

Wow, they all look spectacular - such clean lines. You have certainly mastered the art of layering. Nice job on the mottle - looks lovely and not a pin prick in sight (wish I could say the same of mine :undecided).
