Darbla Posted July 15, 2018 Share Posted July 15, 2018 (edited) I love love love B&BW Orange Ginger in the Fall, and have continued buying that from them but it would probably be cheaper if I make my own. So is there an FO of that scent anywhere? Or something similar? Other than that, what are your favorite Fall soap and shower gel scents? Or even for body sprays and perfumes you make? It's hot as blue blazes here, but B&BW sent emails about upcoming Fall releases so now that's all that's on my mind! It's one of their aromatherapy line at B&BW and to me it is just about the quintessential Fall scent. It's not marketed by them like that, but it is. Wonder when Candlewic might have a sale again....... I was going to post in the Classifieds and ask if anyone had some to sell so I might as well go do that while I'm here. But I have to stop in at WSP this week so I will be smelling it there and see if it's similar. HTH! Please do update us if you get some of the Candlewic Ginger Orange. Trappeur Posted August 1, 2018 Share Posted August 1, 2018 I read the reviews from WSP too and they weren't positive on the orange ginger so I renegged on ordering it. But you know how we all sniff differently so who knows....maybe it is a good one...I started to look around and didn't find much so I thought I would blend my own. I'm not sure what orange I should use to start off with. But I did order from CC Ginger Peach and also some Ginger Chiffon since I had to get some VVooDoo. I use Orange Peel and Cinnamon from Community which I love and thought I would blend some of the ginger i bought with the Orange Peel. I'm terrible at blending I swear. Yes Darbla I think the same thing too that this Oraange Ginger scent is like a Spiced Orange. Well, I'm making these combos today and will let you all know later. Full disclosure, I have never smelled BBW Orange Ginger so I can't say if it will suit your need. As for Orange Spice, I like and use Cajun Candles Orange Spice; it's wonderful. They also have Marmalade Spice that I haven't put in wax yet but it certainly smells good OOB. Also with what @soshiegirl said I haven't smelled the mandarin spice by itself but I did just order the mandarin coconut and it's actually a blend of mandarin spice and coconut and it's amazing!!!
