Belinda
Any recommendations for a good, strong oatmeal cookie FO, with or without icing or raisins.I've tried JS oatmeal cookie with icing and it just doesn't seem to throw for me. Could be me though. I can't seem to smell things like I used to. Too many FO's clouding my senses LOL!Thanks!
Candybee
Belinda check out the new Fillmore thread about their new oils. They just got in a new oatmeal raisin cookie! Most of the oils I have used from Fillmore are good to very, very good.

Candybee
HG smells like graham crackers and frosting to me like those bakery Gingerbread houses they sell at Christmastime. I don't smell anything like oatmeal raisin cookies off it. But it is a good holiday scent. I call mine Gingerbread House during the holiday season. Belinda
I wonder if mixing some kind of spicy scent with Hansel & Gretel would make it smell like an oatmeal cookie? I agree about it smelling more like graham crackers than a cookie, but maybe mixed with something would work!
TallTayl
I'd be tempted to build that one from the ground up.Oatmeal, using some sweet version of oatmeal milk and honeyBrown sugar, like Aromahaven or sweet cakesVanillaNot sure about the raisin. But maybe a drop of a grape would do.
Belinda
That sounds pretty good! I have oatmeal milk and honey from CW. I have brown sugar from Daystar which is to die for, and I have vanilla. I was thinking about putting a tiny bit of orange in it though, maybe hot orange danish or something. I don't know why but the brown sugar and orange just appeal to me.Thoughts on that? I'm not very good at blending.

TallTayl
Sounds like a great start! And it is like banking a cake it's how I blend most of my aromas... Layer by layer.
