  1. You open the driver door and it knocks you out! A big ol mix of everything!
  2. When you forget about a crate of tarts in the back of your broke down vehicle, this is what happens!! My traiblazer sat at the garage for just over a week. I really thought we unloaded these I guess that's what I get for having too much on my plate and being so hair brained!!
  3. I have tried both, right now blending my own.
  4. I don't think you need to put any more in them, you don't want to fill it to the top. The color will look different when the wax sets, I think that may be what is going on with the bottom of the jar, the wax is lightens up quite a bit when it hardens, and soy always has lighter colors than paraffin.
  5. I just remembered a scent I sampled last year, Pumpkin Apple Butter, it was delicious, and would probably be good for bath and body. I'm thinking I ordered it from Angels on Ebay.
  6. I read a thing a while back about adding coconut oil to candles. Could that be it? Still the possibility of vwggie oil too, but id hope they would use something a bit more stable. I bet she sells tons....
  7. Anybody know of a good one? I looked on SOS and they didn't have it. Maybe I could mix something and come close?
  8. I don't think it would be anything I would ever be interested in, as a consumer or maker. Looks kinda messy. Like Karen, I have to be able to get all the wax from the burner, without a residue. And I think the crumbles are perfect for mixing. Everyone has their own way of doing things that suits them, this just kinda looks, and sounds yucky!!!
  9. 4625 is what I'm using right now, and I'm pretty sure its where ill be staying. As far as the container I mix it with, I'm going back and forth between 4633 and 4630. I need to get some more 4630 to test in candles before I settle on a blend.
  10. Blackberry Jam Butter Cookies-DS Blueberry Muffin- AH/RE Amish Quit- AH/RE Sugar Cookie Royale- MW Brown Sugar and Fig-Peak Creamy Praline Pecan- Peak Not sure what wax you use, but these are my favorites in my current blend.
  11. You need to use a hard wax, find something that says it is for pillars, tarts, or votives. As far as cleaning your molds, you can use a heat gun, or stick them in the oven upside down on a cookie sheet lined with paper towels. Make sure it is a cookie sheet you aren't going to be needing for food again.
  12. I like the green one, it looks pretty marbley! I have tried pouring from 2 pots to make a marble candle, the two colors, cream and purple, just plended together and made a lighter purple. I think maybe I poured too fast, or too hot, but ive not tried it again since.
  13. I keep going back and forth between HTP and CD wicks. The blend is 80% 4633 and 20% 415.
  14. Updating again*** Still testing between 4625/4633 and 4630, not noticing much of a difference on the tart front. Candles have been a little more exciting. I have decided 4627 is not worth the mess it provides. I'm sticking with my 4633/415 blend!!
  15. Love the nice clean look. Def looks like a spa label to me!
  16. It's funny I see this today, seems I'm not the only one already thinking fall!! I poured some Pumpkin Crunch Cake, Bonfire Bliss, and Fall Festival the other day. I think I'm going to pick up a few more Autumn scents at my local supply and make them before I pack everything away. I'm worried sick I won't have everything put back together in time to pour my fall scents, and I would just die without them!! I really could burn them year round. As to your question, I loved the Apple Harvest Festival. I have some BS&F and Mac Apple poured. I may put 1 of each in the burner and see what it smells like. I also have some straight Brown Sugar scent, but I don't have any poured. I'll try that next. NG has a Chestnut and Brown sugar, I wonder what it smells like?
  17. I need to take some tips from you girls!! I'm so unorganized.... I have a nice big Americana basket with leather handles. Whatever I make for personal use, or after I have tested it, I just throw it in the basket. When I'm not testing and I actually get to burn something out of there I have to dig til I find something that suits my mood. I still have lots from last fall and winter in there. Maybe someone will come help me organize my candle room after we get in the new house!!!!
  18. I didn't melt anything yesterday, today I've got MW Sugar Cookie in the warmer, and of course, it's boomin!!
  19. I left the room for a while and came back and could smell it, not super strong, but I'm almost sure it is my nose. I'm going to give it a couple days and try it again.
  20. I want one of these so bad!
  21. Willow Inn, a bakery scent, 10% in 4625/TCS wax. I've got several of peak scents in the same wax combo and they throw great! I'm going to try some Country Britches in another room, it's a floral type scent. I may just be candle nosed.
  22. Very cute. Do you do something to take the sharp edge off? My son was wanting to make some of these but I was afraid of someone cutting their hand trying to light it.
  23. Is it just me? I put 1 cube in last night, never even smelled it. 2 cubes today, 1 1/2 hours ago, still nothing! The CT is very low, but I thought surely if I stand on top of the warmer I should smell something. Anyone else have this problem?
  24. Dessa- 4633 and 4630 are very close, I haven't noticed any difference in the throw. I've still got 1/2 a case of 4633 so for the time being I'm sticking with it! Dave, your not allowed!!
