My large burner is a punched tin bulb burner, I believe it has a 25 watt bulb in it. The CT in the candles is amazing!! I made the mistake of sleeping with the Banana Nut Bread candle on my nightstand, I was up at 5 this morning starving!! But at least I can get another 3 hour burn in before church this morning. Yes 4625 is great! I only wish I had tried it sooner!!

My exact thoughts when posting were "better update before Karen whoops me!!" Hubby and the boys are out with the church so I'm just home taking it easy for a while. I will hopefully still be testing while we are in between. I just gave my mil and sil 15 clamshells each to test. I can always count on my sil to be honest, sometimes too much so, but it would be nice to have the opinion of another chandler. I wasn't sure on the brown sugar and fig either, but it is great! Its not a sweet bakery type scent like I was expecting, but more of a cologne type scent, which normally isn't my thing, but I love it. I have not been disappointed in any of the scents I got from peak. The Wild Mountain Honey is amazing!!

I haven't been on here in a while, but thought I would post a quick update on my progress. I'm currently burning a 1 ounce melt, in my bulb burner, 4625/4633 50% each and 10% FO, peaks Brown Sugar and fig. I'm on the forth day! I have never ever ever had one throw past 2 days in my large burner!!! I'm sure it will be different with a bakery scent, and if it ever stops throwing I'll put one in to try it out. I've got the 4625 blended 50/50 with 4633, 4630, and the TCS wax. Ive got plenty to keep me busy for a while!! On the candle front I'm currently testing 4627/415 & 4627/4633 combos(Thanks Dave!), both 10% FO. The first is Banana nut bread from peak and the other is Amish Quilt AH/RE. I poured them in the 1/2 pint mainstays jars, which are hands down the cutest candles I've ever made! I'm using Eco wicks (Thanks Jeanie!). I'm just really getting started on them so I cant say which way its going to go. So far I've got 2 cases of candles, and about 10 lbs of melts to test. I'm going to pour up as much as I can in the next couple weeks, then it all has to go to storage. The boys last day of school is the 31st, that will also be our last day in our house. We will be staying between my in laws and our camper in my new front yard while our new home is being built!!!! The house should be completed before the boys start school in the fall. I'm so excited!! Its going to be an awesome adventure, and I'm sure with 4 boys we are going to have lots of stories to tell for years to come.

I have only ever used MW's Sugar Cookie Royale. It is like no other I've ever tried. I love it in soy and paraffin. I could almost eat them it's so good!!

I poured Lemon Pound Cake, Banana Nut Bread, and Birthday cake, all from Peak, April Fresh Downy (Tri), Amish Quilt, and Blueberry Muffin from AH/RE.

Looks like the only blend I'll be doing is with 4633, I can't find my 4630! I know it's here somewhere, probably in the stuff that I already have packed up. Oh well. If I find it it's going straight in the pot! I'm off to pour some scents I got in yesterday.

We all judge scents on the first smell. I smelled Maui Mtn Pineapple OOB and will never ever ever put it in wax. I almost did once and got talked out of it lol I bet it smells just like Billy's barf.....

AH's TM runs me out of my tiny little house!! It's soooo strong, but I love it!

Funny you post this, I just put Toasted Marshmallow in the burner! I use AH/RE and I love it, OOB and in wax. Everyones nose is different I guess. I recently got some samples from Peak, and my boys said the same thing about the Banana Nut Bread. Well they said it smells like the stuff I use to clean my nails... nail polish remover. Karen- Do you use the lotion base from AH/RE? I'm looking for something to use to put some baskets together for Mothers Day.

Ive got some 415, so I will probably try that blend too. I'm wondering would cdn wick be best with the soy? Eta ive got HTP 62. I like HTP, really love the self trimming aspect.

I'm pouring today in the 1/2 pint mainstay jars, a blend of 4627/4633 and 4627/4630. I have searched and cant find anything so I am asking if anyone can give me a starting point on the wick. Ive got zincs, RRD, CDN, CD, and HTP's. Will any of these work, or do I need to order something else? TIA!!

Nothing chocolate, or seriously floral. Enchanted Spice from MW doesn't sell, neither does Brandied Pear from CC. I love the scent, but I seem to be the only one. Around here the rich scents sell best.

I found 3 cases in my walmart, they said they would continue to carry these!

I know it's not Vanilla Bourbon, but have you tried the Bourbon Toasted Pecan from Tristate? It's wonderful! A best seller for me for over a year now!

I am terribly messing when I am pouring, and I've got the habit of wiping my hands on my pants. I just told DH the other day I wanted to get an apron to wear. I bet my mil could make me one of I asked her real nice!

No luck at Walville with the blue jars, but I did get 3 cases of the Mainstays 1/2 pint jars. I'm gonna grab the phonebook and start calling around, my fil said there is an ace about 45 minutes away!
