  1. I remember using The Candlesource's Spearmint fo in some cp soap and it was nice and strong, and no problems with A or D. I love Cajun's Eucalyptus Spearmint bbw dupe in cp.
  2. I've never smelled Cracklin' birch in a candle, but in my cp soap it smells like a spicy men's cologne type imo.
  3. I use the Candle Source's version in soap, tried NG too and prefer TCS version.
  4. Wondering if you've ever cp soaped any Cajun fo's? I've found very little soaping info on cajun's fo's. Their Eucalyptus Spearmint is a must have for cp for me, but looking to try out some more that are soap friendly and strong in the cured bars. I'm going to try out the Mulberry Madness, is nice and strong oob, so have high hopes for it! going to try Southern Jasmine. i've soaped Cherry blossom smells more rose to me but it's a strong fo and sticks great, I have bars that are several months old, and still has a lot of scent Their Coco mango really faded on me and morphed a bit but it sure smelled strong oob, so should be great for candles. Cool Water was better than a lot of other suppliers that I've tried.
  5. Tennessee candle had VBN in stock as I just got some from them...be best to call them because the website is not updated and stating out of stock, but they just recently got in several oils that they were out of.
  6. Eucalyptus Spearmint! I just got my order from them today and they had been out of stock and just recently got this one back in. It is Great! I also got Mulberry Madness and it's strong too, but first time ordering it.
  7. Oh for sure! This is the perfect lavender to blend with.. Got my new fragrances from them today! Fruit Slices smells amazing and strong oob, , but I think they will be discontinuing this oil. Sweet Coconut- Still on the hunt for one that doesn't morph in cp, hoping this is it..I've tried so many it's ridiculus. smells Very good and not overly sweet. Dried Apple wreath- Wow, I really do like this one! it's complex and hard to describe, and I think it will be perfect for the holidays, keep opening the bottle to take a whiff! It's sooo nice!! Vanilla Bean Noel- Oh I love this! Compared it to NG Mrs. Claus Cookies and oob VBN has a stronger vanilla smell and more complex imo. I bet this would go great with Sandalwood in a blend! Now to find time to soap!!
  8. I wasn't crazy about the name either and renamed it Woodland Spice..
  9. Many should be happy SAP is back in stock! I've read a lot of good reviews on this one, just wish it wasn't problematic to soap as I'd like to try it too.
  10. I use a lot of NG fo's in cp and these are some I like: Cracklin' birch The perfect man Stud Rockin' the stars Fluffy pink candy Yeah for yummy Honey bunny Lemon sugar Mrs. Claus cookies Vanilla lavender Magnolia orange blossom Very sexy for men Aqua di gio Butt naked Fruity loops Amazing grace
  11. Yep, I totally agree, you might want to call and see if they'll give it to you for the same price as the 16 oz...
  12. Well I'll have to check out the Tassi sometime..Tenn True Lavender sticks great in cp and everyone seems to like it, I was out of the Peach Magnolia Raspberry, so had to get a couple lbs. and Lovespell. I'm going to be trying out the new Coconut fragrance too. Ordered a lb. of fruit slices, dried apple wreath and VBN.
  13. Just a heads up to those looking for Dried Apple Wreath, Vanilla Bean Noel, and True Lavender..These are listed as out of stock on the website but I called today and they have just recently gotten these fragrance oils back in stock so I was able to place an order over the phone and Kimberly is a real sweetheart to deal with!
  14. Very happy your hand is healing up good and your getting to soap again, Barbara! Beautiful soap, and I just love that shade of blue and the glitter is a nice touch as well.
  15. For the Southern Belle... You could go with Tennessee Candle Supplies' Peach Magnolia Raspberry, I love this in soap, and doesn't discolor so you can swirl it up real pretty. Scent works has the best peach for cp if you want a straight up peach, and it is called White Peach. You could blend this with other fragrances, and make your own custom scent.
  16. Sounds like a fun project! You might want to consider NG Cracklin' Birch, it's nice and strong in cp, discolors light brown but I always use goat milk. Sells really well for me and should work fine for your campfire type scent:-)
  17. I've tried using some stearic acid in cp soap and it really accelerated trace, so I find it's just best for me to formulate my recipes using more hard oils like Cocoa butter, Palm Kernal oil flakes, Palm, Lard and Tallow too if you're not opposed to using animal fats, makes a really hard bar of soap.
  18. I haven't tried the soapberry colorants, but wanted to mention that the neons work really good for me. I sometimes like to blend various oxides with them to achieve the desired color I want.
  19. There's so many people with allergies and a lot of people buy homemade soaps for gift giving also so I list ingredients on each bar along with my contact info, weight, etc..I've seen many soapmakers who do not, but to protect myself, and others I feel it is best to do this.

    Cedar

Millcreek has one called cedar wood, but I haven't tried it yet.. I just ordered some yesterday to try in soap..good luck:) Cedar Wood-- Woody green apple bark is infused with Northern pine cedar blending with a touch of lavender and sweet patchouli. Base notes of woody vetiver, musk and vanilla lend to this popular blend. Body Safe
  21. Great swirls, Kelly! Gonna have to add this scent to my wishlist:)
  22. Good to know it doesn't accelerate, Kelly..Thanks:-)
  23. I've only tried MIllcreeks and loved it, Smells great, but it was instant soap on a stick when I tried to soap it. Now I might be interested in Ah's version if it smells the same and cooperates in cp...
