Candlescience's fresh coffee, and love the hazelnut coffee also. I've mixed them both in equal parts and it's great. Scent holds up very well in cp. I'm not sure if either discolor as I always use strong brewed coffee in place of water in my recipe, and a couple Tbsp. Fine coffee grounds and the soap is a medium brown color which is what I desire for this type soap. Hth..

Oh it is sooo pretty, Barb! I've got to make some more pink sugar almost sold out. I used NG vanilla stab with fo from Aroma Haven and it stayed neon yellow with flourescent pin k swirl. I'm looking forward to trying Pink Sugar from Makes Scents, it smells Awesome oob and in lotion.

Your braver than I am, lol..3 color swirl is the most I do for this one and even working lightning fast I'm a plopping it in the mold..the fragrance is worth the trouble though:)

Thanks Candybee, I'll have to try a sample if I ever order from Elements. I've been blending Millcreeks honeysuckle with Cajun Candles Southern Jasmine and it's so lovely, sticks forever too! I have heard Bittercreek has a great Jasmine, but I haven't tried their fo yet.

I haven't tried the VS from either, but really like the VS from Nature's Garden. I use it in cp and I think you can use in lotions too.

Aroma Haven's Lemon Verbena is my go to as well. I agree the scent remains true and sticks long term in my cured soaps. It's a keeper! I used to us CS version too, until they reformulated. I really liked their honeysuckle jasmine too, and now have to blend my own since it is no longer skin safe.

No Dee, I have not tried ICS monkey farts fo yet. The ones I have tried are NG, MC, Candle Source, and probably more..I'm currently using Aztec's, still on the hunt for a better version though. I really like Aztec's oob(smells like banana laffy taffy imo), but morphs for me in cp.

I have yet to find a monkey farts fo comparable to Bert's version, and have tried many, all are inferior, imo..A friend had a bar of my cp soap made about 3 years ago using Berts monkey farts fragrance and was still fragrant! Her Angel, and Cool Water fo's also stick in soap for years. I miss her wonderful fo's!

Need a great dupe, specifically for cp soapmaking. Need a good strong one that doesn't fade. I just made a 2 oz. sample bar with Candlewic's Very Sexy(one of their ultimate scents), and can't even smell it,lol..maybe the scent will come back as it cures, but I find most usually don't. I soaped Millcreeks several years ago and seemed like it was a fader.

I only make soap and have tested a lot of their oils and have found NG to be hit or miss for the most part. Some fo's have been really good in cured soap and then others have tested to be very weak. It's like this most suppliers for me, but continue to order my must-haves from them. They have great prices and customer service, and speedy shipping and love the selection!

Amber, oakmoss, lavender, bergamot, vanilla, mint- I haven't tried this blend, but think it could be unisex All the blends mentioned sound wonderful! Great thread!

Candybee, are these both good in cp soap and strong without any sour notes? I haven't had much luck with vanilla's in soap so I have quit making vanilla except for Pink Sugar. The last 2 vanilla's I tried were Ms. Claus Cookies from NG, and The Scent Works Vaniglia del Madigascar (spelling may be off,lol) I could wash my hands and detect a sourness smell with both, yuck!

Wow, I'd be freakin' out too, Hate that happened! Maybe you could try using a shop vac to suction up as much of the spilled fragrance as you can, and then a carpet shampooer/extractor spray on lots of water with it and keep suctioning up over and over. Good luck!

I use Cajun's version for cp soap and lotion, and think it is a dupe to BBW version...

I use candle source's version in cp soap. No acceleration, but does discolor tan. Scent sticks good 1oz/ppo for me..

BarbAL sent me some Scent Works English Lavender fo to try, and it's the best dupe to Yardley imo:-)

I couldn't resist ordering a bottle after reading the description! Plan on using it for soap and lotion, but so far haven't found any test results when I looked on the soap scent review board and other forums. Hopefully it will be a good one!

Hope it's amazing in soap too! I'll be getting the oils tomorrow, not use to waiting this long for an order (ordered on may 8th)... suspense is killin' me,lol!

Good to know Marilyna- I never ordered this particular fragrance, I've soaped MC and another companies version in the past and was not happy with the outcome.
