Hello, placing an order tomorrow with JS and here is my list. Can you let me know if any of these are not great throwers? I have searched and read lots of information but sometimes companies change their formula etc. I am using IGI 4794 tarts. Peaks didnt give me a fo sample like they have in the past which was disappointing.:embarasse

I am ordering waxes and waiting for them to arrive to make wax chunk melts. Your melts are so beautiful!!

I am also a beginner, but maybe you have to whip the wax which allows it to be piped?

It will be great to see pics, I will take some of mine when I get the waxes sorted. Joym, thanks for your input. I wonder if it is possible to use the same chunk wax for the overpour also? Is there a reason why 2 different waxes are used?

I hope someone can help. I only have 6006 and some soy wax here, I am going to place an order with peaks for different waxes and when it arrives I will put my thoughts to the test. I would love to be able to make them, they are just too cute! Lol With whipping wax, I think that works well for making biscuit melts and for topping. Maybe if you pour the wax in the dish then drop the wax chunks in it will sink to the bottom and then add some more to top up and have them stick out. Not sure though

I have seen a company in the us make the cutest wax chunks, they say that they are the original company doing so. I think you pour the wax in a low wide dish and add the chunks and when hard use a pizza or knife to cut into chunks, am I missing anything??

I have quite a few jo mo products, their bath oil is lovely but for me the star/hero product are the candles. The scents are light,airy and different to the norm. They are one of the best beauty/bath/body companies UK had to offer, they are now owned by Estée Lauder. Jo had cancer so had to recover, she now has a company called JO LOVES. Now having said all of that I think the USA produces some of the best scents and products in the world. Some of the wax tarts, soaps B&B products I have are excellent "amish bread, pink sugar, blue sugar anyone???"are from home crafters or businesses in the USA IMO.

Last year I ordered on the same day from peaks and BCN , peaks came within about 3 days (perfectly packed, free sample and all correct) and BCN came in about 12 days (packed well and everything in order) at that point I was just glad the BCN order came at all. Lol. Both shipped to California.

Who is the new vendor they are trashing? Does the vendor know? This is like a soap opera!

That is awful, it's bad enough doing this to another person but to a child SMH!!!!!!

Umm, this I think would not be a good idea, customers are customers, we all are. In the business world which we are all in, in some shape or form a list like this does not exist, what happens is that word gets around certain customers and it is down to the supplier if they wish to service them. Companies like Coca Cola, Carols Daughter etc etc all have customers, suppliers they will not do business with, it's business. So to compile a list of 'bad customers' I do not think is the right way to go and is very murky and messy. Keep doing great work and it will all come good :-)

This is so far away from Christian behaviour that it is almost funny. I have read a few threads where customers are boycotting front porch due to this. I guess because some customers purchase tarts of the companies she has effectively left up sh*t creek. This is one of the main reasons that I will not purchase fragrances from one man bands, I much prefer to work with fragrance houses when possible. Companies like peaks, Oregon etc are great for fragrances and hardly change like the wind.

Vanilla is nice mixed, any of the mints would work spear, pepper etc

I love dip candles!! It is great to splurge on these! Enjoy the scent!

I would love to be able to buy bulk orders from TCS and the CandleStore and NG, but to be honest,I am very very nervous about doing so because what happens if they close up? They may carry on in business for years or they may close down or sell up. It is too much uncertainty for me especially with the printing and packaging costs I am going to incur for the range. If I find the fragrance house in least I know that as long as I meet their min orders I will be fine. The price may go up due to ingredient costs, labour etc.but inleast I will know where I stand which gives me peace of mind. If I cannot find the exact fragrance house to go to, I will contact them all, I just feel bad about wasting their time. Anyway, I guess this is just a step to go through in business. Thanks again and if anyone does know, please please PM me, I would be prepared to pay for the information!lol!
