  1. Isn't the Butt Naked such a FUN fragrance??!! Depending upon my mood I color this fragrance 2 different colors....peach or light turquoise. If you use the liquid dyes to color your candles to make the peach PER LB ... .88 drop of yellow and .38 drop red OR if making the light turquoise..... PER LB ....1 drp blue and .25 drop green. They are both great colors for this scent. For a little help on finding colors to fit your scents check out the color suggestions on Nature's Garden (I do this quite a bit) ....it is below the scent info...OR Cajun Candles....click on the candle making supplies click on liquid dye section and scroll down to the liquid dye recipe section.... hope this helps you.
  2. It would make YOU an awesome Christmas gift! You will not regret!
  3. Yes I am. I love it. The best part of it is , is that you don't have to stop making candles until YOU are ready to stop making candles. No waiting for wax to melt once it is melted. I just keep adding slabs throughout making candles (never letting the wax get low) and I can crank them out as long as I want. Love that!
  4. I like to blend the cocoa therapy with other chocolate scents to enrich them such as chocolate brownie, cocoa etc and also love blending w/coffee scents. Great w/vanilla too!
  5. Oh the Citronella and Orange or Lemon is divine! Let me know what you think of the blends.
  6. Hi Siren12! I just love the CS citronella....I had searched for a long time and I feel that this is the best smelling one out there (ackkk if there is such an animal as a good smelling Citronella...hee hee) . I use 1 oz per lb if making a straight citronella, but a few of my customers love the blends....I do 1/2 - 3/4 Citronella and 1/4 to 1/2 other compatible scents such as Orange, Lemon, Vanilla, Lime, Fir etc. The blends smell good and gives the customers a different choice.
  7. Beautiful soap Candybee!!! LOVE your colors and the blend cucumber and avocado sounds awesome!
  8. I'm going to have to try that blend...I love both of those scents anyhow! Yes it was fun and so good to meet great like minded people! It would be great if they did do the convention this year.
  9. Hi GoldieMN, When I started making these...I gave some to my coworkers and asked them to try them out and tell me what they think. They melted great and smelled great....they said they loved them. Yes....I have had customers tell me that they can smell every listed scent. It really is amazing. Come on .....join us!! Let's see your chunk tart melts!
  10. I like, I like!!!! Beautiful! Heck fire girl.....your customers will buy the WHOLE loaf!! Yummy!!!
  11. The tea tree is very strong and maybe it would take a very strong EO like it to add just a little something extra in the scent mix, but I do like it in my soap. Hmmm, I have got to get to the Tractor Supply Company and get a can of that pine tar and play. Thanks Chefmom! Maybe a dirt/activated charcoal layer and a tar layer of soap...
  12. Hi Nikki!!! Everything looks great!!! Do you mean you are talking to your insurance agent to get insurance to get your business insured and going? If that is it, I wish you all the very best and keep us posted! You do awesome work girl!
  13. This soap has got me thinking....question for ya Chefmom.....do you think a person could add a scent to this soap or would the tar smell overwhelm any other scent you think? I COULD so see a soap called Tar and Dirt on my shelf with activated charcoal added in there somewhere....what do you think? Did I just ruin my soap?
  14. Yours will be just wonderful Moonstar! Blending scents is something that all of us approached with caution. Once you start, you just go with it. I have made some real stinkers blending, but most of the blends I have tried have been wonderful. Start out by thinking of 2 or 3 scents that you know will smell great together....like vanilla, caramel and white cake..or honeydew melon, watermelon and kiwi and just go from there. You CAN do it!
  15. Wow...this was great!! I love the dark color of the soap and I see it makes some great suds! This was so interesting! Thank you Chefmom!
  16. I love your pieces Chefmom!! So beautiful!!! Love those plates with the lines on them on your blog and I enjoyed reading! You and TallTayl are awesome at making pottery!! There is a lot of talent here on Craftserver and I so enjoy seeing what people are making! LOVE!!
  17. Hi Moonstar! I have made the melts with just the 4794 in the past and if I were in a pickle I would do again. As far as melting them and getting the results you want, I would use a regular electric tart warmer to melt them. I hope that helps....Let's see YOUR tarts melts.
  18. Come on pcbrook.....you can do it and will love it. Let's see YOUR chunk tart melts!!
