  1. I don't make MP soap, but I have used both Shea and Cocoa in the same batch. I do have some Mango butter which I have not used yet.
  2. I to use both oils and butters in my soap.
  3. Sorry can't help you, I do not use UV inhibitor. Which market are you going to, if I am out an about would be lovely to put a name to a face?
  4. I do hear what you are saying, but with all due respect you saying you took 10mg for three days, a dose like that even though only for a short time should have been gradually decreased. 5mg is not a low dose for adults, it does depend on conditon. I know lots of people self prescribe lots of different things but....
  5. You should never self prescribe especially with Prednisone, there are so many different strengths and a strict way of prescribing. You should have seen your doctor and been given a topical course of a steroid cream. Sometimes despite all you do require steroid creams with eczema, I know from experience. I do know what desperation is with this disease in a bad flare up, but please promise next time you will not do this.
  6. As mentioned in a recent thread, I am a straight rose hip oil girl.
  7. It is so exciting when you first begin this obsession. The forum and people here are so wonderful, if you read everyones posts, not just those related to questions you may have, you realise that yes, without testing testing, frustrations, determination then it is a long road to perfection. You also learn by other peoples posts lots of other essential information that you do not find any books. Just when you think you have it something throws a spanner in the works as you have discovered. I realised via this forum how many substandard and crappy candles there are out there, strife for perfection. Stick around, practise and may be in years to come you can achieve your own business.
  8. If you can develop a formula which included carrot oil and cammomile blue oils they are excellent for eczema
  9. I think you have nailed it, simple, clean proffessional looks very classy
  10. I always like simple, I just do equal parts of beeswax shea butter sweet almond oil
  11. Absolutely stunning. I know it is a silly question, but how do they burn, given those beautiful big blobs of intense colours? Do they colours blend together when they get hot, or do they stay true to the orginal colours when they are burning?
  12. How can you not call yourself a sewer with that beautiful creation. Can't wait to see the other's when you finish them
  13. Me to, no idea what it is, so photos please
  14. Thanks Tammy, just looked at BOM site, winds are now forecasted to be 100Km an hour, so that is a bit less then yesterday at 120 Km. Here's hoping it weakens significantly and just gives us some rain.
  15. Tammy again thank you, spent ages looking at Heirlooms site, they have a wealth of information and so many supplies.
  16. Tammy I can only imagine how it must be over there for you all. Glad to hear you and your loved ones are safe. Thanks for the link, always good to have another Aussie supplier bookmarked, never know when it may come in handy.
  17. Thank you Susan for the information, interesting indeed
  18. They all look lovely Susan
  19. Susan, be it right or wrong I have been making hot process soap in my slow cooker. I just put all of my oils in the pot until melted, I do not even test the temperature. As I have been using several blends of oils in my soaps I do put the solid oils in first, when they are well on the way to being melted add the liquid ones. Might have been lucky but it is working for me, no failures yet, cross fingers. So it is difficult for me to say what it looks like, I just keep stirring.
  20. Beautiful outfit, clever lady. Lol, the posing reminds me of my daughter, she to is a "drama queen". I have only made that comment since you confirmed she is a natural actress.
  21. Yep you have got it right, beautiful
  22. Gentle...................never I really prefer the white, makes me want to read what is on the label, would not look twice at the brown label. Hanging labels are great idea. I agree the blue writing is a better look too.
  23. My sugar scrub, skins feels so soft afterwards. I use whatever combination of EOs I feel like using on the day. Made a yummy lot the other night for myself, daughter and sister. As I mentioned in a previous thread mine is simple, just sweet almond oil, sugar, and the oils
