  1. Can't wait to see it...I so love a recycled anything; this is an amazing idea. I've used them to store things in, but since they aren't "aesthetic" they get knocked about. One of these would be a killer window display. Thanks so much for sharing! Best, Brandy
  2. https://www.anchoronline.com/ If anyone is looking for 16 oz jars for the holidays, this deal works out to .80 each with the domed lid. Shipping to me was reasonable; I ordered 10 dozen for an upcoming fundraiser. Just thought I would share. Shipping quotes were Fed Ex.
  3. Hi again. I pulled this excerpt off the website, hth! Sunshine Container’s two ( 2 ) piece sparkling clear acetate tealight candle boxes are perfect for displaying your tealight candles. These boxes come in multiple sizes and the quality and consistency will satisfy even the most discerning customer. Order direct from the manufacturer and save! Sunshine Container is an environmentally conscious, family owned company and uses recycled materials whenever possible to preserve our planet.
  4. Can I get in on this? Thanks in advance! B@BlissStreetCandleCompany.com
  5. :cheesy2:I so love your idea and theory. But honestly, as a consumer, I am irritated with extra wrap, twist ties, etc. on product. I would rather just open a box. I think they look super cute individually wrapped, but how often do you burn just one? I tried the cello sacks, and didn't like how the teas got beat up; use Sunshine for boxes. They stay nice and safe. HTH
  6. Hi, Candle lady44, I don't know where you are located, but I am in Michigan, and found that shipping was far less expensive in state. I get some of my glassware from Southern Scentsations. www.greatcandle.com Did you check the supplier by state list in the archives? It is a great source for info. http://www.craftserver.com/forums/showthread.php?t=5492 HTH!
  7. Ok. I'm so addicted to FO. This is probably the six or seventh time that this Hot Orange Danish oil has been brought up in the last few months. I have never ordered from the Candlemaker's Store yet, but thanks, CT friends, for giving me another "Just Gotta Have It". Damn enablers.:lipsrseal
  8. :yay:I love it when members post the cool pics. This is gorgeous. The talent here is amazing. Thanks so much for showing this gorgeous candle. Best, Brandy
  9. http://www.marketlabinc.com/prodtype.asp?strParents=1329,1330,1458,1459&CAT_ID=1938 This thread is easy to access via search. HTH! I don't really need anywhere near 400, and would love to split a batch if anyone is interested.
  10. Hi, Gardengirl. I have a previous post bookmarked, and need to order these myself. It is a medical supply place, I think. I have a ton of homework to look over, but I will try to post it soon. You could try searching the forums for that; it was fairly recent...and I think JudyUSMC provided the link. Best, Brandy
  11. Thanks, Julie. Ordered a sample from C & S today, fingers crossed it works. ☮
  12. So, the OOB scrumptious smell of NG's Peanut Butter Cookies did not throw in EL millennium. At all. Cold or hot. Not even in a HOT tealight burner. Smelled great when I mixed it, just a very faint scent after a 3 week cure. So...do I cut my losses with that oil, and go to a new supplier...or should I bump up tho FO load (millenium holds a ton of FO; but I used 10% in this)? I don't want to throw good $ after bad...any suggestions on who sells a good PBC that throws in EL? Unfortunately, I have over 14 oz. of this left. I got 5 oils from them that day...3 are winners so far; waiting on a few more days of curing to test last candle. TIA for any suggestions. Best, Brandy
  13. www.greatcandle.com Click on Glassware to see lids. Southern Scentsations has very fair prices and great customer service; quick shipping (I'm in same state about 3 hours from them). HTH:)
  14. :tiptoe:Our customers have never mentioned this. They usually are so pleased with the scent throw, that they are not concerned with these soy wax characteristics. All our candles start with a smooth top. Some scents maintain that, but ALL maintain an even melt pool when burned properly. Let customers know what product you are using, and that frosting/mottling is a typical soy charachteristic. It'll be fine.
  15. I do them for $4.00 each, or 6 for 20. Unless they want a "B*itch Slap" scent...developing that line now!:laugh2::laugh2:And I'm in economically wiped out MI. Maybe the violence line would work....hehehe.
  16. Possibly...are you going to offer the "actual" B*itch slap on your website? I'm thinking I could do it for clean people for about $1.50, and adjustable rates on anyone smelly or dirty?
  17. b*tch slapped w/ scent HOW MUCH DO I LOVE THIS NEW MARKETING TECHNIQUE? SHE IS A PIONEER, I AM SURE! BEEN LOOKING FOR A GOOD LINE OF BS TO PROMOTE MY COMPANY; GUESS I'LL JUST USE THIS! THANKS SO MUCH FOR SHARING. LOVE YOUR POSTS...YOUR WIT IS PRICELESS. "Hi. I'm Brandy, and I'll be helping you today here at Bliss Street Candle Company, where it is our policy to B*itch slap you with scent. How can I help you with your purchase?" (picture Baby Jane style lipstick and a cigarette hanging from my parched lip!)
  18. Wow! Thanks so much for sharing...the beautiful soaps are so fascinating. Hopefully they'll develop the olfactory app for my next laptop:laugh2:!
  19. Hi, again. I just wanted to point out for the soapers that on the J & L site there are two sets of fragrance lists to make it easier...one is for just skin-safe fragrances. HTH
  20. Thanks for the update! I have been trying to stay up to date on this topic, as I am using it in a position paper for my law class. I called one of my BFF's today regarding the matter, as her husband, Kurt Damrow is the Republican candidate for 84th district House Representative here in MI. They emailed me a link to a petition, and Kurt is going to make some calls to some colleagues in Lansing today to inform them of the problems this act will create. Hopefully they can shake things up here in MI for the cause! http://www.thepetitionsite.com/1/oppose-hr-5786-safe-cosmetics-act-of-2010/
