  1. I was in the dreadful Wal-Mart this morning and saw they are carrying a Presto Big Kettle. Two weeks after I bought another standard one, of course http://www.walmart.com/ip/Presto-Big-Kettle-Black/38468981
  2. I think that is worth a try! I have Maple Glazed Bacon from RE, and it is very complex. I love bakery, and have Buttermilk Pancakes. I am doing some testing next week with the maxi tea lights, and will brew up a batch at 50/50 and let you know. If you try it, please update on your results! I want to find a couple new "out of the box" type fragrances for fall.
  3. I don't use that wax, but have success with htp wicks in the apothecary; most run great at two 93's and some take two 104's when it's one of those tricky scents. HTH
  4. I have Almond, Milk & Honey that is amazing in M&P and EL Soy. Unfortunately, it was also an EL oil, so not sure if I can get it anymore from the new supplier. I mix it 50/50 with My Baby from Southern Scentsations and sell it as Buttermilk Baby in my buttermilk soaps.
  5. These are amazing, and look painful to make. I have some embed paper, but haven't been confident enough to try it out. Side note: I clicked on the photos so the image would enlarge, and a bubble popped up and said I don't have permission to access that. Is this a glitch with the new board, and is there anyway to tag an admin with the new set up?
  6. Strawberry Preserves from NG is good, but I love Bird of Paradise from AH/RE. Selling it as Strawberry Fields this year (Beatles anniversary).
  7. I love the bakery scents, but my true favorite is something I never thought I would love; Sugared Spruce from RE. I can't stop with this scent. Year round, it is what I grab first for my melters/tealight burners as well as wicked.
  8. They are very reasonable, and good quality oils. Raspberry Macaroon is to die for in soy and M&P. I've had good results with the majority of oils I tried, and the ones that didn't pass in wax often worked in soap. Watch for their $1.00 sale on 1 oz. samples; great way to try out a variety.
  9. RE's Rosemary Mint is amazing. Sell it year round, great in M&P (stays clear and sticks), super in room sprays and was a nice shower steamer scent when I ran out of Eucalyptus. Highly recommend.
  10. I have loved EL Eggnog for years, but medium to slow sales. Perhaps it needs a revamp on the name, because it rocks. Thanks for the tip.
  11. I would start with an HTP 93 or maybe a zinc 51-32-18.
  12. Yes, and they release from silicon and poly molds.
  13. Candybee, did you happen to try it in any m&p? I've been looking for a body safe lemon fragrance without using EO's. Would love your input if you had a chance to try it.
  14. We use EL Millennium for our clamshells and oval tubs; both release nicely. Oddly, when I tried the votive wax in clams and tubs, it kinda stuck on me and was hard to push out of the clam, so we just stick with the container. HTH
  15. We discontinued them. Customers complained about lighting the candles when the wax gets lower. Wicking was pretty easy to figure out in EL soy with HTP wicks. The jars we used had two sides that were smooth and two that have the measurements on them. We just did labeling on one smooth side. I really liked them but just couldn't get customers to reorder due to the inability to reach in the jar. Hope this helps
  16. Welcome, and yes. Yes, yes, yes. Sometimes they bloom, sometimes they wilt. If not, this would be a much less expensive addiction/hobby/job/co-dependency process. I don't do perfume, but do both m&p and soy wax as well as dabbling in b&b. Any time you mix FO with a carrier, you are going to get different results besides a dilution. HTH. I'm sure much more experienced perfumers will add to this, but this is the busy season and the boards aren't always as quick with everyone making product for the holidays. Good luck.
  17. Red Lipstick. Throws great in soy, sticks in M&P, great in body sprays/room sprays. Sugar Corn Pudding. Excellent throw. Unique scent; very buttery and bakery type, but not overly sweet if that makes sense. Blue Skies. Amazing in soy and M&P. You won't be sorry. I use quite a few of their fragrances, but these three are among my favorites. All are very unique. Good luck
  18. Ahhh....I think this is the brand when I order from OBI. :tiptoe:
  19. That strikes a bell; maybe one of those LTD Catalog brands? Their contact info is a PO Box.
  20. Winter Hug from Southern Scentsations is wicked strong in soy.
  21. You can ship them USPS, just be sure to label the box and alert the carrier that it contains liquids.
  22. So glad you had a good day Sunday; great video. One question...how did your M&P hold up to all that rain and humidity?
