  1. I really like the SOCP from MC as recommended however I get the fuel smell. I think I must be overly sensitive to it though.
  2. I hope it goes well for you. You'll have to keep us posted! All this talk made me pour my sample a couple of days ago. It smells great. Can't wait to burn it.
  3. I recently ordered some from KY. I haven't poured it yet but OOB it smells really good.
  4. I haven't tried a lot of their BNL stuff but I like the BNL Olive Blossom. I sniffed a bunch of the BCN samples while at BCS ond day and I think I remember thiniking the BNL cucumber melon was the better melon one they have.
  5. So I ordered the manufacturers grade and mixed it with the grade a 50/50 and didn't like it as much. I may try 75/25. I like the CMS orange vanilla but I am not "wowed" by it. It's good but I still feel like I could still do a bit better with this one. I think I a going to palce an order to try Genwax's orange vanilla and juicy bits of orange. Anyone try these and get a fuel smell? I am sensitive to that. I was going to try WSP but with all the shipping issues they seem to have I think I may stay away from even trying them.
  6. I can't help with the Ile Flottante but had to laugh Mzpickles. I actually have been meaning to mix the whipped cream with the pistachio dream cake to see what I think. I am mixing a couple of things tonight so I might try that!
  7. I agree unless you are in there frequently and will be back soon.
  8. I finally put pineapple paprika in wax tonight. It smells really nice OOB. I can't wait to try it out in a few days. Me too-I have the same thought.
  9. Welcome to the site. I agree that it's a valuable resource!
  10. Here are some ideas off the top of my head. I don't sell yet so I can't tell you what I sell best but what I like best for this time of year are: NG Butt Naked Coco Mango * these two both scream summer to me Daystar Forbidden pomegranate Elements Olive Blossom Brambleberry Energy is a good one. Not so much fruity/beachy but nice BCN Pineapple Blossom CS I haven't burned either one of my testers yet but I think both Watermelon and Strawberry shortcake would be good Peaks Bird of Paradise I am going to test out key lime pie from KY that I poured last week tomorrow. It smells like it might be a good summer scent too.
  11. I have lables from there and they have all been hard to align and the templates don't exactly line up. I think round labels are extremely hard to line up too. Not sure if it's the companyor just that it's part of printing.
  12. You are totally justified in being upset. That is plain wrong. In this case it wasn't your fault. It was their mistake so they should without a doubt exchange it for the correct FO. It's not even logical that they wouldn't take care of this error. Believe me if I were in your shoes I would be causing quite a stir. You just don't do that in business.
  13. I have recently had that problem too. Mainly when I am pulling them tight is when they come out of the tabs. I find the ones that I make myself with left over wicks and tabs do much better. I also use a pair of wire cutters. Mainly because it's what I had handy and it works.
  14. I have never used it in person but I was just looking at dye on Lonestars site and they have a teal liquid dye that looks like if you use it on the lighter side it might be the color of Tiffany's?
  15. Thanks for sharing. I am excited to try it. I am actually trying to find a good vanilla based scent that I like. I just got my samples Saturday so I haven't poured any yet but oob the sugar cookie, prairie kitchen, peppermint cocoa, and bluberry bread all smell good. I picked up a few others that I am curious to see how they do in wax.
  16. Hmmm. I never tried vanilla frosting but did order the sugar cookie with some of the samples I ordered. OOB it smells good. I'll have to put it in wax tonight!
  17. There are way too many to choose from! A friend of mine always tells me my food ones start to make her salvate! Berts lemon biscotti pie is great Berts dark chocolate mint KY's coconut cream pie and orange chiffon cake, birthday cake, creme brulee CS strawberry shortcake NG's pumpkin crunch cake BW Gingerbread latte CMS Orange Danish I could probably think of quite a few more. LOL. I am testing lots of spring and summer stuff right now or I would probably be more food oriented!
  18. I haven't ever burned a cdn but from what I have read I believe they burn a little cooler than the cd's. So yes. You may need to wick down on the cd and see a similar result. That's just opinion though and not experience.
  19. You don't charge sales tax if you sell to someone outside of your own state.
  20. Not to make your decision too hard but if you like a lot of food scents I really like KY for their bakery fragrances. I think all their oils are really good. Somethng to keep in mind for later on down the road. I like the following a lot: Creme Brulee Birthday Cake Hot Apple Pie Blueberry Parfait -new but good Apple Clove Butter Cinnamon Vanilla I also plan to try mix their coconut with the orange chiffon cake. It gets a lot of good reviws. I accidently ordered the wrong thing on my last order though and didn't get the coconut cream pie
  21. They are both good places. I probably tend to buy more from CS. But both are good. From CS some of my favorite out of the category you described are: strudel and spice cranberry marmalade white tea and berries wildberry mousse I have poured the following and they all smell good in wax although I haven't test burned them yet watermelon strawberry shortcake cinnamon buns buttercream blackberry marmalade Rain Water is really nice but it's more of a light floral If you do decide to go with peaks I like there bird of paradise a lot...it's fruity. HTH
