I use some of Daystar fo in my b&b, a while back I made some tart melts with one of her fo and I am not impress with the ct.

I got a FAKE Etsy e-mail telling me that my account was limited. We all know not to answer these directly but just thought I would mention it.

Thanks for the tips. I do take my pictures near a window but I think that I am going to take it outside and see how it goes, I also like the Photoshop idea and will give that a try also.

I am having the hardest time taking pictures of lip gloss, lipstick and mineral makeup. I have a shadow box but my color do not come true. Any pointer greatly appreciated.

And on the bright side I have a lot of repeat customers and some people leave the nicest feedbacks. I will never understand how one customer can love a product and another hate it, even though it's the exact same product, same scent, same packaging. As for Etsy they sent me the same old generic BS...thank you, I am so glad I am paying you all that money. By the way Noodle - I am no longer on e-bay but I remember that you had to contact the seller before leaving a negative feedback.

I just issued a full refund for the order it is not even worth the time because Etsy will just send me one of their generic e-mail. I just find it funny that this buyer registered with Etsy 5 days prior to making this purchase and has no feedback or no other purchases in their account. I have been selling online for over 12 years now, I never has any problems on my web site, e-bay or my previous Etsy store but I have noticed that in the last 2 years every time there is an issue it seems to be with a young girl who spent $10.00 or less. I recently had someone leaving a negative feedback because and I quote: "the texture of the cream she received did not resemble the one in the picture"! I just bought some digital paper on Etsy a few days ago, I think that I am going to open a case because the dots are not as big as I thought they would be and the shade of pink is not what I expected...maybe I can get my money back too.

This is a first for me so I thought I would post it here because seriously it reinforce my opinion of Etsy. Someone opened a case against my store because the scent of the item they bought is not as described. This is LMAO and I copied the description from the supplier. This person has 0 feedback and just registered on Etsy last month. This could be a competitor or someone trying to get something for free and thanks to Etsy they're going to get it. What's next I did not like the color of an eye shadow, the texture of a cream, the soap did not lather enough, the lipstick wasn't creamy enough, the wax didn't melt fast enough, the flame wasn't high enough...

I have been using Paypal since it came out and never had any problems. I have been having the same checkout problems with other sites including Walmart, I don't think it is Paypal I think it is my IE 10

I am not a 100% sure but I recall reading on USPS web site that they will not ship anything with a flashpoint lower than 171.

I am having problems uploading pictures to my Etsy and Facebook, IE 10 just stops working would it help if I upgraded to Window 8?

Unfortunately we had over a year to organize but very little was done and again we are back at let's wait and see what happens. Over the last year I didn't see much said or done on the subject and I got the impression that our suppliers were more interested in their bottom lines and did not want to rock their sales. I guess that if inspections are required those who work out of their kitchens between kids and pets will be forced out. I still think that small home based businesses making $250.000.00 or less should be exempted but as anyone even made the case for us?. So maybe it has nothing to do with "trying to screw the industry" or "not believing in science" but simply with not having all the facts.

I googles it and ended up on the Clarus site: Scale Wax - Also referred to as Crude Scale wax or White Refined Scale Wax. These waxes usually have improved color values and melting ranges from 105 to 125 degrees Fahrenheit. Oil content is in the range of 1 - 2% by weight. These waxes tend to be softer than fully refined paraffins and very plastic like.???

In my quest to answer the "will your tarts work on my Scentsy warmer" question. I tested my Tart Melt on my "new/used" Scentsy warmer with a 25 watt bulb. According to my supplier my wax melt point is 132 (KY Tart), I couldn't believe how long it took for 2 cubes of wax to melt. I haven't tried Scentsy Tarts but does anyone knows what kind of wax, the MP of their wax or how long it takes for their Tarts to melt???.

"Small businesses with less than $2 million"...if a business making $1 million is a small business then what are we??? In my county businesses making under $250.000 are considered small businesses and not subject to BPOL. But this still leaves the States to regulate as they see fit like the new Florida requirements.

I don't think that they get their images from suppliers but from image selling service like Istockphoto.
