  1. There are 2 sizes of sample vials. The free one Element puts in your order is minuscule. The one for sale is much larger.
  2. Did you read this? http://www.elementsbathandbody.com/Sample-Vial-Testing-c-321.html Their sample vial do not contain much but from the sample I have here, I think that you could make a few small tarts melt. 50 ml of wax @ 2% would be 1ml with that said I think that their FO are better for B&B
  3. Where can I find a chocolate hazelnut for B&B?
  4. 13 years I have seen a lot of people come and go. Things have changed a lot and the customers too.
  5. Where can I get a small quantity of Creative Fragrance Ltd Toasted Coconut?
  6. I just started playing with a small quantity of nail polish base however I this product stinks and because of the warning instructions I am concerned with proper storage. For those of you who make and sell nail polish how do you store your base.
  7. I got an e-mail yesterday from WSP they are looking for people who make CP to test fragrances, one of their requirement is that you have a business and have been selling for 2 years.
  8. I would do it and even if the weather is bad you can always give something FREE (that always gets people's attention). I would have a sign that says FREE gift with $20.00 purchase and I would give FREE samples with a website address or e-mail address if you don't have a website so you can take orders later. Anything to grab the customers attention and money before they go in.
  9. I don't really have a style or color in mind I am just looking for something different and a little bit more upscale than what everybody is using. Plastic or glass size ranging from under 1/2oz to 4oz. I have looked at all the suppliers I can think of and it seems that they all carry the same containers.
  10. I have been buying my skin care and bath and body packaging from SKS but I am looking for a more sophisticated look. Any recommendations for a supplier?
  11. I used to do that when I first started and I wasted a lot of money on FO. Every time I read about a "good" FO on this board I had to try it. In the end it had to come to how well a supplier's FO works in my wax. I am now down to 3 suppliers and that works well for me. I have also accepted that I can't carry every single scent in the world.
  12. If you want gingersnap cookies Bittercreek has an excellent one.
  13. Anyone tried WSP gingerbread? NG also has Hansel & Gretel and Backwoods Honey Gingerbread is very nice but maybe a little too sweet. JS has Gingerbread Goodies. The quest for the perfect Gingerbread Fo goes on....
  14. Strawberry White Cake and Farmer's Market do well in Para soy and Vanilla Waffle Cone is nice but I have only used it in B&B. Unfortunately my experience with many of JS fragrances is that they are weak overall.
  15. No wonder 3 teaspoons for 3 oz is a lot compared to the amount I normally use. Thanks for the info.
  16. I can't remember where I read about this site but I did order some flavor oils from them. I made a few lip balms and use the same % of flavor oil I use with Flavor Oil from NG and RE and I am very disappointed. I am hesitant to waste more lip balm base. Anyone use these flavor oils? If yes can you recommend a %
  17. I want to transfer my business account to another bank and they are asking me for a Federal Taxpayer Identification Numbers? My business is an LLC and I have always filed my business taxes with my personal taxes using my SS # Do I need to file for a Federal Taxpayer Identification Numbers? Will I have to file my business taxes separately?
  18. I have SOS Ultra it is nice and strong but I do not know what the real perfume smells like.
  19. Thanks Tall, I got a grey card and I will be trying it this week.
  20. To me it is much easier to do this using the metric system. I use a Pyrex cup to melt my lip balm base and ml pipettes to measure my flavor oil. Let's say you have 100 ml of liquid base and you want to use 3% of flavor oil. 100 x 0.03 = 3 ml
  21. I don't do candles anymore but I remember an outdoor craft show I did many years ago in the Summer heat, everything started sweating and my wax got soft. Maybe you can test your products ahead of time to see exactly how they react to the heat. I would get some cheap styrofoam coolers with ice packs. Uline has thermal packaging and you can reuse it for the next event. Good luck!
  22. Online labels has the labels you are looking for and you can print them using their Maestro label designer.
