  1. I can't wait for your update on burning them. Thanks for sharing
  2. I will take the Burgandy and Gold one. That turned out awesome. Actually all of them did. Great job!!!!
  3. The GL 70/30 slabs are very easy to cut. They cut easily with a butter knife. Great adhesion to the glass, best customer service and excellent scent throw.
  4. Now that's funny right there!!!!!
  5. Wish I could help but I don't use that wax. Angela, she posted it yesterday. I thought the same thing too at first but then I looked at it again.
  6. Maybe because there is no flame to burn off the fragrance. Just a guess and also what Laura said. The melt pool is deeper.
  7. Gotta agree with the rest on the 70/30 blend from GL. I love this stuff!!!!
  8. I have tried the wax thing with the photos and then overdipping and it doesn't work on the photo ones. I got airbubbles behind the photo doing it this way. Haven't tried with the polish over it. Didn't know you could put floor polish over it.
  9. Beautiful. I would pay 2.50 for those heck maybe even 3.50.
  10. Remember you are also still in the smallest part of the candle jar. It gets wider than that where you are burning now. You have to wick it to where it gives you a full melt pool in the biggest part of the jar yet does not get the small part of the jar too hot. I have been using the Eco-8 in my testing with the GL 70/30 blend and so far my results are good with these. I did have to wick up on a Cinnamon buns fo to Eco-10. Brenda is still working out the bugs with the manufacturer with this wax but Eco-8's are burning decent in this jar. I know I trimmed a couple of mine too short and it did the same thing. I trimmed it while it was still burning and then I had hangup on the sides so I had to pour a little of the wax out to help it. That was my fault though for trimming way too short.
  11. Greenleaf has a sampler pack and I thought Bittercreek North had sampler packs also. Wicks Wares has them too.
  12. Their Peach, Magnolia, Raspberry is Awesome. I rename it to Southern Breeze. There Coconut Banana Pie I believe that is what it is called. It has coconut and Banana in the name. Don't have the bottle in front of me. I have only tested it, have only bought a 2 oz sample but this scent was awesome too. Can't think of anymore but have tested a couple of more (it has been a while since I have tested) I don't have a business so I am pretty slow at testing fo's. But they have pretty good scents that I have tested so far.
  13. Try Greenleafcandlesupply.com She has some unique scents.
  14. That is so beautiful!!!!! You should be very proud of that one!!!!
  15. Your photo editor that you use should have a way to resize them somewhere. Please keep us updated on your testing. I am testing this wax right now and I am having a few wicking problems but it is an awesome wax as far as scent throw. I am very pleased with it. I also use the 8 oz square mason jars with the Eco-8.
  16. Love them, Love them, love them. I may have to start buying some pillars from you. I don't make pillars!!!!
  17. Raspberries and White Roses is very strong. Good smell too. I have tried the Vanille Coco in perfume only and that is my favorite. The Tres Magnifique(sp??) is a good one in wax too. i tested it at 1 oz pp in 6006 and had it burning in my co-workers office. Every patient that went in there loved it. Her office is a small office but it was drifting out in the hallway. Haven't tested it in a big room yet. But the scent is wonderful and would be wonderful in bath and body products.
  18. Greenleaf's 70/30 blend which is 70% soy, in my opinion, has an awesome scent throw compared to the 70 para/30 soy that I have tested and I have tested J223/soy, 4627/soy, 4786???/soy (can't remember if that is the correct number, it has been so long), JS 50/50, 6006. I am really pleased with the scent throw so far and so are my co-workers. I do have to let them cure longer though and I can tell a big difference in scent throw after curing. Just my opinion though.
  19. I have some natural beeswax that is just sitting there doing nothing. I may have to try to overdip a small cane and see what it does. Thanks Donita.
  20. Beautiful!!! Can I ask how you are applying the flowers to the cane? I am always trying a different way to see which way I like. So far, I have used tacky wax and spray adhesive. I know some instructions say you can use white glue but haven't tried that yet.
  21. For the 3" I would try the Eco-10 or Eco-12 or HTP 126. Can't help you with the other, sorry. Still testing the 4 inch apoth. 16 oz. Testing 2-HTP-83's right now.
  22. I would say two weeks also but that is with any candle you sell. I just think it is better for them to sit because I have noticed that some FO's get stronger with age just like fine wine. That is with several waxes I have tested.
