  1. I considering adding this to my line for candles. I remembered testing this a while back. I liked it but didn't get the wicking quite pinned down. I've noticed it has been out of stock for quite some time. I've also noticed it is quite expensive now. $36. So, I'm wondering, for those of you that use it in candles, is it strong enough to use quite a bit less of it? I have a few scents that cost that much but I only need to use half they are so strong. Thanks!!! BTW I use 6006.
  2. They've been out of business for a while now. No word on anyone picking up their fragrances. I think we are out of luck.
  3. I suspect you are right. This shall be a challenge but entertaining.
  4. I was considering that option myself! I have rare earth but would have to find a nice true rain. Any suggestions? Thanks!
  5. If you were looking for a scent that would be closest to rain on dry earth. Like after a dry spell, not floral or perfumey, which would would you choose: NG Torrential or Brambleberry Kentish Rain............or something else? Thanks so much!!
  6. Has anyone tried many Daystar Premium oils in candles? Do you use less for a strong throw? Some are more expense but say they are tested "strong" throw in candles. Some look interesting. Thank you!
  7. Thank you Carole! I have a sample of Stonehenge coming. As well as Blue Sugar. I'm looking forward to smelling these.
  8. So I have JBN/Greenleaf version of it. Time to re-order ( I know it's at SW now), but.....I've searched and didn't find much on Daystar's Havana. Has anyone compared it Daystar's to the original Archipelago type to see how close it is? Or if it's closer than SW's? Wondering if Daystar's throws as strong as SW as well?? Thanks soooooooo much!!
  9. Has anyone compared Daystar and SWC Havana. I used to use Greenleaf's and now I'm in need of more and not sure which I should choose any idea which is closr to the archilago original? This will be used for candles. Thank you.
  10. So that means we are still able to order their vanila bean noel? I just assumed since it wasn't there anymore I could not. I was very close to switching vendors.
  11. wow. I buy my wax from candlescience. Out of curiosity I checked to see what shipping would be out of bittercreek north out of ashland WI. It cost nearly twice as much of of bittercreek for shipping! I live in wisconsin. Now I remember why I didn't buy my wax there.
  12. Thanks gor heads up. Stocked myself for busy season.
  13. Aren't they closed? I couldn't get on their site.
  14. Cannot seem to find a replacement for Heartfelt Rocky Mountain Pine. Tried several. Anyone who used to use Heartfelt found one? Thanks so much!
  15. Thank you! Sounds like most are still the same. I poured some I still had from Green leaf. Still just as strong and true! Wanted to know if I could get more of the same when it was gone.
  16. Is the Indonesian Teak at SWC the same one that was carried at Green Leaf candle supply? Thank you!
  17. I've been wanting this as well. I already use refillable cartridges I got on e-bay but would love this, if it works.
  18. If you are at an outdoor area where you do pick up wifi, is it okay to just use that? I ask, because i don't want to get a phone where I have to have a data package. There are tablets that are wifi only so can I use wifi only without 3G and all that? Also, will other andorid tablets work. I was looking at the Toshiba thrive and that is wifi only but has the android 3.2 OS and full access to all the apps. So glad I saw this thread. Ive been trying to find out this info for some time. Thanks!!
  19. wow. Thanks so much for all the info everyone! Looks like ebay has good prices. Now if I can just figure out more info on the Propay JAK reader I'll be set!
  20. I was thinking of trying this but do not want a data package through my cell phone provider. I'm seeing it works on a samsung galaxy tab. Wondering if it would work on the toshiba thrive as it runs on the 3.1 android as well. Also wondering if it would work with wifi only. Thanks!
  21. For some reason I can't get the search function to work. SO I'm asking a question that probably has already been asked. Sorry. I am possibly working this coming year at a Farmers market in the summer and outside pro football stadium in fall. So I'm thinking of getting a canopy/tent. Probably with added side walls. What are your suggestions for the best ones at the best price? I've seen several on line but wondering which you have tried and find to be pretty easy to set up and sturdy. Thanks!!
  22. Hi, I've been making candles for 10 years now. I only make and sell container candles. I used to burn pillars occassionally for myself but stopped buying since the better quality ones are so expensive. So, I thought I'd try making some for myself. Not selling. I'm not planning on adding fragrance or color. I was reading instructions on Peak's site. The only thing I would like as the quality is that it not drip so much. Any suggestions on which is the best wax and wicks for a drip free as much pillar with no fragrance or color? Thank much!
  23. Is MMS good in candles (6006)? I also noticed WPS has dirt. I have never tried it was was thinking of trying it in candles. Thanks!
  24. I'm looking to replace these as well. I was hoping Heartfelt would suddenly come through.
