  1. Very warm welcome to you as well, FaeryWren.
  2. Some Chai Tea...& when that scent clears, maybe some Linen. Btw, lmc, is your Lavender Chamomile a BBW type? Just curious. I drool for that scent (wiping chin).
  3. I think that's excellent. Same with SuzyK & Moonshine. There are plenty that do, though. I think this is an excellent thread for the new sellers to take notes on.
  4. If only I could get back the many thousands invested in this "hobby"...but, it certainly is satisfying & fun!
  5. I'm glad you brought that up. That has always been a BIG variable...the type of warmer. You can claim your scent lasts 20 hrs & the type of melter the customer uses shortens that time down at least by half...not even throwing in other variables. Claiming your scent lasts X number of hrs is tricky...good you guys qualify that with specifics when you sell. That always bugged me big time! ;-)
  6. Rustic Escentuals has a killer one too (Grandmother's Toddy) - for that matter so does Connie's Candles. Kick butt fo. Dead on dupes for Candleberry's.
  7. I never thought of that. I have to give that one a try myself. Thank you.
  8. I love that! I think I may be weird, I'm a mix between rustic & southwest. If I can get my camera to work, happy to. Actually, the jars & burlap that I fill with the crushed cob get tucked away in bigger baskets that sort of hide them, but I still get an excellent scent throw.
  9. For the foyer in my own home & even my office, I scent pine cones & keep them displayed in open pottery or baskets. I also scent crushed corncobs (super cheap huge bags at Wally World) & fill them in rustic mason jars, decorative burlap, etc. Works very well for me.
  10. Absolutely! We've had the worst winter frost in about 100 years. New roads look like they've been wacked by jackhammers. Ready for the thaw. Spring...please present yourself!
  11. I mix fo with baking soda & let it sit open in a small wide mouth jar in my laundry room. Lasts a good week usually, depending on the fo. Grapefruit & other citrus types work really well/ laundry fo's work excellent for me too. When I dump it out, it makes the garbage smell "tolerable" from the laundry room too (where the kitty box is). Just an idea.
  12. They have a great Clove. Also one of the best Apple Jack & Peel out there too.
  13. What? Sorry, that would have made me delete it immediately.
  14. In my opinion, you did the right thing JI.
  15. I'm sorry. Makes no sense. I had scammers on the brain today...spent the afternoon disputing my own fraudulent charges from some moron in Canada who decided to go nuts on Canadian ebay with my bank account. I'm just glad you avoided a huge potential fraud - albeit, different scam!
  16. Not that it isn't very flattering & I'm sure your candles are superb, but, something about this screams red alert. Would just hate to see you put all the work into something that is a scam. I would trust your gut.
  17. I've loved them both ;-) Should add, the more research you do here, the more you'll discover a wide variety of sentiments for every single type of wax & wax blend out there. Just all comes down to what works for you.
  18. If it's for bath goodies - pink grapefruit.
