  1. Ha! You got my attention. You are right...time to rip some good f.o. burps!
  2. That one is awfully good too. Smells alot like a "BHG" scent from wallyworld that they've now put in the "economy" size, I guess you'd call it. Something like a Kiwi Melon ish. Gals at work love this (I've been using with just salt in a warmer at work lately).
  3. Ha! We do like some very similar style scents, I know. I can't help you save money - can only help you spend more of it.
  4. Harvest Gathering is one of my faves as well. I had to go back a while ago & get me a bigger bottle
  5. @ OldGlory...no problems with melters; they just haven't been filled with scented wax in a while because of this. The hot plate warmer obviously gets hotter so the salt/fo mixture dries out sooner. You are absolutely right about refreshing it with more fo. Honestly, the larger crystals have more eye appeal, but plain old table salt is what I'm becoming partial to for the melter. I don't know why, it seems to work better thsn something larger like epsom salt crystals. Just my two cents.
  6. I think it's a good idea. I don't blog, but my hubs does for his family construction biz. I know it's a nice way to connect with existing & future customers.
  7. My beautiful wax supply is awful lonely lately...it's been neglected with a cheap & easy substitute (BTW...I don't recommend keeping the melters on all night.)
  8. @ moonshine, I've had my melters (both the hot plate type & the bhg/scentsationals type going all night with the salt & fo. You'd be suprised how well it works.
  9. I have to agree with Old Glory. Looks funky, but it shouldn't affect your throw. It's happened to me too.
  10. Message received Good idea you had here.
  11. Oh, sure...the ones by CBV look like a creative renaming of scoopable wax. Clever marketing. Probably just a very soft container wax is my guess. Someone else probably has better insight on it. How fun is that idea?
  12. Never heard of what you are referring to. I had to do a google search. If it's what I'm seeing...just looks like they use silicone Ice cream scoop molds.
  13. I personally love BCN's Cedar Wood.
  14. @ megandgarr, I can only tell you what I've eyeballed. I'm not trying to sell it, so I'm just playing. I use less salt & more fo than you. I think I've used about 1/8 cup salt - maybe a tad more & about .25 oz (that may be too much even) of fo to that (I just use my eyedroppers for that). I just mix it in a lined dixie cup right before I put it in the melter. I never wrote it down, I just eyeball it. When I have a chance, I may have to dig into our stash of solar salt (no-one tell hubs It's been a great way to use my (cough) stash of oils. To me it's very similar to adding the fo to some carrier oil & putting that in a melter. This is easier to clean up though.
  15. @ OldGlory...I absolutely understand why those sold extremely well for you. I didn't think it would work as well as it does. LUV.
  16. It sure is crazy. Thank goodness you were right on top of your account & caught it immediately. Last time this happened to me, it was Apple I tunes as well along with some gaming site charges. What a waste of smarts. Why work for it when you can steal from someone who does.
  17. Just another thank you to Talltayl....since you shared this tip, I think I've been doing it constantly (with simple table salt). Scent throw in the warmer is just a wonderful as wax. Kinda even liking it better than wax. That says a lot for me.
  18. It happened to me last month. Turned out to be a dude in Canada buying military gear who defrauded me. Nice, huh? At least I got the charges reversed & a new account now.
  19. I like to add a little rosemary to my apple & spice.
  20. I've learned to ease up on my fo load with them in many cases. For me, they do beautifully too both in my parasoy & in straight 415.
