Soot on a candle never really bothered me all that much back when I used to buy them....was easy enough to clean up with a cleaning wipe. The HT is most important and Yankee used to make a great smelling candle but it doesn't seem that way anymore. But......they are a BIG business and I'm just a teeeeeny little guy so they must be doing something right.

About 6 months ago my sister took some of my candles in to work to sell for me. Well she sold everything I had and everybody loved them but 2 days later this one woman said oh Yankee candles are WAY better, they last longer...blah blah blah so my sister told her well just go ahead and spend all that extra money on those candles. about 2 weeks later people were asking for more....including the complainer who said...hmmm your candles smell stronger and bought all my apple scented candles because just one small one filled her entire room with that yummy CS mac apple scent and took back the remark about the Yanmee candles being better. I still have a LONG way to go to get that candle that I'm happy with but I'm damn sure mine smell wayyyy better than yanks. I do like the mottled look too but not ready to try that wax yet to acheive that look. I prefer the smooth creamy look.

I used Berts coconut in 6006...1oz in 1 lb of wax and the throw was very strong. CS has a good coconut also....smells better than Berts but the throw is a little bit weaker.

They are absolutely beautiful!

CS...but then again it's the only one I have ever used. So strong and so true to the real thing. It also mixes well with Raspberry(Berts, another strong one)....as a matter of fact I have a small 4oz hex jar going now that has more than half of my downstairs area smelling so goooooood.

CS Gardenia lover here also.....don't know on Jasmine because I never purchased that scent before(don't like the pee pee smell). I'm not real big on florals but theres something about the CS Gardenia that is very pleasant...not overpoweing floral....just a very pretty scent in wax and room spray.

I use 6006 also and love the HT and CT I get from this wax. I have also tried the 4630 and I really like that one too. Both come in slab form and love how easy they are to slice :smiley2:

Has anyone tried the Citronella in wax yet? I got 3 1oz bottles of it yesterday along with a bunch of others but not too thrilled with the scent....I just don't like the smell of citronella...yick

WSP has a really nice margarita but I don't know how it is in wax. Very strong OOB.

oooh yes the wildberry mousse...smells great in 6006 I ordered some sample bottles myself Citronella on the list of must try for me....live in NJ and man do we get some nasty skeeters in the summer. I really hope this stuff helps and is a good seller. Right now the Smoke and odor eliminator is a good seller for me....Love Spell another that fly off the shelf

Lemon Chiffon smells yummy Struedel and Spice...awesome Blueberry Cheesecake....kicks butt in 6006 Sunwashed Linen...big seller for me...especially in Room and linen sprays I love most of the scents they carry

I love looking at everyones pics I love the color of yours and it looks to be burning great. Could I please see the side view? Thats the beauty of palm waxes...all the different designs so please post away I have yet to attempt a pillar candle of any kind but the more pics I see the more I'm really wanting to give it a go.

berts lemongrass is gone smells great in 6006....CT and HT kicking myself in the butt for not buying more while she had it for such a great price. The lemondrop sounds yummy....kickin myself in butt for not ordering it yesterday when I ordered some wicks. I love lemony scents

Oh wow!! I love the look of your candles!! I'm gonna have to try that...I use a parasoy(6006) but first I'll have to order some liquid dyes. I think the only one I have is red. They really are very beautiful Firestarter

IMO CandleScience.......smells so much like the VS version. Throws REALLY well in 6006 and makes for a great Room and linen spray and body spray.
