  1. Thanks Carol! I got it And off to the sale I go
  2. I'm also signed up for the newsletter but never got anything. How long does the sale last? could someone please foward me the newsletter? Diiiane@aol.com
  3. I bought a few of those at my local Dollar Tree about a month or so ago. All I did was put some in an 8oz jelly jar, added a drop of yellow food coloring and some fo.....I believe it was 2 pipettes full. The fo I used was Berts lemongrass...shook it up a little bit to get everything mixed together...put into a decorative glass container in my bathroom. It was a little bit cloudy at first but after a few hours it cleared up. It's pretty much the same as smelly jelly to me but I think it looks much prettier. I also got a fishbowl type glass bowl...put a regular glass votive holder in the center with a tealight...covered the votive with foil so the beads wouldnt end up in the votive holder and all over the tealight and surrounded the votive holder with the scented marbles and when lit it looks really pretty because you can see the flame through the marbles. I did this one in red and used Apple Jack and Peel for the scent. I got many compliments from this on how pretty it was and wish I could post a pic of it but dont have a digital camera that works around here lol I hope I made sense on explaining how I did this. It didn't cost very much to do since the marbles and the bowl came from the dollar store and the glass votive holder was only a buck from Walmart.
  4. WOW they are beautiful! I especially love the blue one
  5. I don't bother with poking relief holes either and have no problems with test burns. Sometimes there are small holes at the top but nobody seems to be bothered by it and rave about the nice strong throw they get from my candles made with this wax. I also tried feather palm(from candlewic) in small hex jars even though it's a pillar wax they still look beautiful and burn great in the jars(no relief poking with those either)......the scent throw is awesome Acutally I'm liking the feather palm more than the GG......makes great votives too I don't think I would attempt it in larger jars but for the little 1.5 and 3.75 and even the 6oz it works nicely.
  6. The Walmart near me has different size jelly jars. Usually it's a seasonal item but right now they have 4, 8 and 12 oz quilted plus larger size regular jjs Saves me a good amount of money on shipping fees and the case prices are pretty good.
  7. CS Pumpkin Souffle is my favorite. I have tried quite a few pumpkin scents and always come back for that one. Super strong throw in 6006, ecosoya pb and also palm wax. Most of the time I will add some extra cinnamon to it for that spice kick but either way it's an awesome scent
  8. I have been wanting to try Edible Spice....good to know it throws well in wax so if I buy it I know it won't be a waste...thanks Candybee What spice do you detect the most out of it?
  9. oooooo the Pistachio dream cake sounds yummyyyyy. please let us know how that one throws in soy(I use ecosoya pb and also 6006) Pumpkin cappucino and pumpkin gingerbread sound great also. I love fall scents and will burn them year long...anything strong and spicy is my fav.
  10. I never tried mixing the two but yes you are right...not a bad idea Another nice summery scent I like is Mango Margarita...smells like something I want to drink on a hot humid day C&S oils are pretty hit or miss for me....many of them smell great OOB but not all too great in candles....probably nice for B&B
  11. I agree on the Snickerdoodle...smells yummy White Tea and Ginger smells great and French Vanilla. They ship super fast and if I order from them before 2 I always get my package the next day...it helps that I live about 2 hours away from them.
  12. Yep...I agree with Candlebuddy. I have tried most of what is listed there and they are great throwers in 6006 The Red Hot Cinnamon is another strong thrower. also Baby Powder gardenia Hazelnut Coffee theres more I'm sure
  13. If you are willing to spend the high price I agree with wsp Aqua Spa..it is a really nice scent.....very clean and upscale C&S White Tea and Ginger is a nice spa scent and also Candlewics "Spa" which smells alot like the C&S WT and ginger. The 2 smell very similar and the C&S version is much more reasonably priced. I have had the best luck with those...all beautiful scents

    Cotton Candy

    Beautiful! I love the colors
  15. I 2nd the CS Strawberry Shortcake. Has a great CT and HT in 6006 and smells so yummy
  16. Yes it's not just grapefruit....I smell some peach and not sure what else. I had just melted some tarts a little while ago with this scent and its stronger than the last time I tested it....had some more time to cure.
  17. Yes...they sure do ship fast and have great customer service. This scent smells really nice. I have only had a chance to test it in a few votives(feather palm) and tarts. Nice throw but not super strong....but REALLY nice. It is deffiantley true to the leaf rating whcih was 2 leaves. Surely worth a try if you are a grapefruit fan.
  18. I second the CS Sunwashed Linen....smells really fresh and clean. I use it all the time as a room and linen spray and to freshen up my clothes to give them that fresh scent......also makes a really nice candle. CS Clean Cotton is another clean (not fabric softner) scent but a bit more "perfumy" than the Sunwashed Linen.
  19. Same here with Pumpkin Souffle.......it's my favorite pumpkin scent but a PIA to get the wick to stay lit. I also like to mix Mac Apple with Cinnamon Stick and have a tough time wicking with that one.
  20. Snickerdoodle....oh wow is what I have to say about the scent and throw from that one. My favorite. Perfect amount of cookie and cinnamon combination. Red Apple Peel is good but so far all I made from that one is a couple votives and it is a dead on straight apple scent. Strawberry Daquari....smells yuck OOB and the cold throw, not so great but when the candle is lit and burning the scent is sooo good. Cinnamon.....smells great ....has turned into my favorite straight cinnamon scent and is a perfect mixer. Coconut Lime... nice! Sugarcane and Vanilla...yummy! if you are a vanilla fan you would really like this one.
  21. I don't like the Violet Lime either...gives me a headache too. I haven't tried any of the figs but got a few sample bottles of the Grapefruit and Mangosteen. OOB it smells soooo nice but just haven't had time to really test it for scent throw but managed to make a few tarts and hope to eventually get around to making a few container candles with it. I keep gettin orders for citronella candles(CS fo) so the testing gets put aside for now. I can smell the grapefruit and some peach and not sure what else. It wasn't super strong but lightly filled my room with a nice scent.
  22. Great job! Oh so very organized! I have to dig through stuff to get to my supplies half the time and would love to have a room like that!
  23. Oh wow! They are all so pretty!!!! I also have to say I love your avatar! Your little doggie is too cute all dressed up Mine is my little guy Oscar...I found him roaming the streets a few years ago and can't imagine my life without him now. Sorry I went OT there. All of your soaps are really beautiful and I can't even pick which one I like the most I'll bet the Red Sedona smells great. I love that scent in candles so it must be nice in a bar of soap.
  24. Such beautiful work you do. Sending good thoughts your way to sells lots and lots of your beautiful products. It's a really nice thing you are doing and every little bit counts
  25. Great! Thanks mmhoneybear. Iv'e been wanting to try out some new vanillas. I have the CS Very vanilla(which is great) but looking for something different to try...something sweeter. leenabug. The dark choc mint smells great and is strong in 6006 but if my memory serves me correctly I had to wick up with that one. Same thing with spice plum....strong and very nice scent. Grapefruit smells wonderful but I have't got that one in wax yet...I'm crossing my fingers I don't get that fuel smell becuase I love that scent....made a great room and linen spray
