  1. I just ordered some wicks from Bert and while I was at it decided to try out Monkey Farts, French Vanilla and Lemon Biscotti Pie Can't wait to get these scents in some wax
  2. You can probably make tarts out of it and should get a decent throw but it probably won't pop out of the molds very easily unless you put them in the freezer for maybe 5 minutes just to harden it up to pop them out. Since 6006 is similar(but way better imo) and I had some leftover wax from pouring candles I would pour what I had left in some silicone molds. They had a great throw but they were way too soft and slippery but I only used them for myself. Your best bet for making tarts is a wax made for votives and pillars such as Ecosoya pb. CandleScience has good prices and way cheaper shipping prices than wsp. I honestly don't understand all the great reviews for that wax and that was the very same reason I had bought it last year before this whole shipping included increase stuff.
  3. The plain cinnamon Candlebuddy...and I absolutley LOVE this cinnamon. Another one I got and love from candlewic is Snickerdoodle....oh how yummy this scent is and now I'm wondering if it would blend well with Pumpkin.....on my list of gotta give it a try I haven't tried the cinnamom stick....yet.. heehee I too like both Cinnamon stick and the red hot from CS but candlewics smells like straight pure cinnamon...it's strong and mixed very well with Pumpkin Souffle. No...you haven't lost your mind...you obviously have a great knack for blending scents together
  4. I had to wick up on Baby Powder and Cinnamon Stick. I think there are a few more but can't think of them offhand.
  5. I have used CS Cinnamon Stick and CMS cinnamon Stick but just recently tried Candlewics cinnamon with the pumpkin souffle and have to say I like that one the best(candlewic). Candlewics Cinnamon smells like a true cinnamon scent to me....strong and yummy smelling so I think I'm going to stick with that one but the other 2 were great also and everyone that bought my Pumpkin Spice candles absolutly loved them Candlebuddy appears to be the queen of all blending with so many great suggestions
  6. I've never had any problems with residue on the floor with the cms base. I have tried so many different pumpkin scents but I always come back to the CS Pumpkin Souffle. I like spicy too and always add extra cinnamon fo to spice it up a bit more.. like maybe 3 parts pumpkin souffle to 1 part cinnamon and it smells great
  7. I use the room and linen spray base from CMS all the time and I love it. The price is great(16.00 per gallon I think) it doesn't have that strong alcohol smell to it and all you need to add to it is FO and lightly color it if you wish. Most of the sprays I make with this base come out crystal clear with exception of a few....CS Smoke and odor eliminator is one that tends to cloud up a little but the scent is strong and long lasting. I have used cyclo for room and linen sprays, and body spray and love it but its much much cheaper to use the CMS base. I like to lightly tint my sprays and cyclo wont take color, but love how it feels on my skin....sooo smooth. I too love pumpkin scents and did make a spray with CS Pumpkin Souffle that smells so awesome.
  8. Mac Apple from CS and Red Apple Peel from candlewic are both great fresh smelling apple scents and both great CT and HT in 6006.
  9. They look great! Good enough to eat
  10. CS Lemon Chiffon.......not super strong but such a yummy scent....to me it's a perfect balance between lemon and cake. It's one of my favorites in parasoy.
  11. Your welcome and please post pics if you decide to try this....it does look like fun! My grandson would love it.
  12. http://soap-queen.blogspot.com/2008/07/making-play-dough-soap.html never did this before...first I have ever heard of it but it looks really cute

    ornies?

swamp monster? LOL that description is tooo funny
  14. The one fragrance I really did not like at all is Red Hot Cinnamon. I had purchased that one a couple of months ago(right before xmas) and yick....smelled soapy and not much of a cinnamon scent. I was very disapointed in that one being I'm a cinnamon lover. Her regular cinnamon though is good....not super strong but made a great mixer. The one I really want to try next is the lemon biscotti....yummm that sounds tasty Oh and her Candy Cane is great too
  15. Got the samples yesterday afternoon. OOB this oil smells very nice. Not heavy or strong at all but I can smell the grapefruit and I also can smell a slight hint of peach and maybe orange. I'm going to try and get this in some wax today. I have 6006 and some gg and feather palm. Crossing my fingers I get a good scent throw because I really do like this scent. Will know in a few days after curing
  16. I had tried the sp wax a few months ago for containers and I wasn't all that impressed with it. 6006 works much better for me. As far as tarts for this wax it may be ok to use but most likely a bit too soft unless maybe you added some parrafin or palm wax to harden it up a bit.
  17. oh yes vanilla latte is yummy. I really like her grapefruit also....smells like the real thing. I was going to try the Pink sugar but after reading that it's not so great I'll pass....thanks for the heads up on that one
  18. Same here...I ordered 3 1oz samples to try and should have by tomorrow
  19. I love berts Lemongrass...throws great in parasoy A few other good ones I have from her are Black Cherry(super strong) Dark Choc mint...super strong throw Raspberry...strong coconut...semi strong Cinnamon Plum...great throw Key Lime Pie yuuuummmmmy! Theres a few more but I haven't had much coffee yet so my thinking isn't at 100% yet
  20. I second the feathered. I got mine from candlewic and I love it. I seem to get the best pattern and throw from that wax. Made some nice votives too...I haven't ventured into pillars yet but it's gonna happen eventually.
  21. I just recently tried the Feather Pillar palm wax from Candlewic (#3 I believe) and I really love the look and scent throw.
  22. Wow they are really pretty! The poem is beautiful...the color is beautiful and I love the star on top. You are very creative Charm!
  23. Really nice color and great pattern there What scent did you use? Please let us know how it burns. I only do palm wax on occasion but was never brave enough to do it in a large container or double wicked.
