Yep....I tight fitting votive holder will work like a charm and the votive should last you about 15 hours. I did the same thing in the beginning when first making votives and they behaved the same way and barely lasted 4 hours.

I too use the flat glass lids on the 12 oz Status jars. I got them from C&S and also CS. I think the ones from C&S are a little bit cheaper but the ones from CS fit just a tiny bit tighter.

Got 3 samples of the Honeysuckle yesterday with my order. OOB the scent is awesome! I'm not a floral lover but this one is an exception. Tested it out in the C&S houseblend wax which I purchased a few weeks ago to try out(a parasoy blend). This morning when I did a sniff test of the candles for CT and wow! nice!! Poured into a 6.5oz Victorian Jar, 6oz tin and 2oz tin and a few tealights. I have a tealight burning in my bathroom now and so far so good with HT. My next test is the Beach Linen.....oob a nice clean laundry type scent and now kicking myself in the butt for only ordering a 1oz bottle instead of 3....what was I thinking? lol

My favorites and bestsellers in 6006 and palm wax. Cranberry Marmalade(bestseller) love the scent....great throw in 6006 Love Spell(bestseller) great throw in both of my waxes Vanilla Hazelnut(bestseller and love this scent) great throw in both waxes Black Cherry..great throw in 6006 Sugar cookie....I love this scent but wish it were stronger in wax Peanut Butter Cookie.....love the scent but needs a bit more pb Pumpkin Souffle....super strong throw....best seller in fall Gardenia....great throw in both of my waxes Dislikes Violet Lime...blech Mistletoe but sold tons of it around Christmas so it's a keeper....great throw in both waxes Twigs and Berries....just a scent I don't care for and gave me a terrible headache when pouring it in wax. CS has way more scents that I love over dislikes and I have more favorites but what listed was what I could come up with at the moment

wsp puts expiration dates on the fo bottles they sell. Check the date on the side of your bottle.... or it could be that it's got alot of vanilla content and maybe with some vanillas that can happen....not really sure. I got a Sugar cookie fo(alot of vanilla) from them a few months back that had crystals in it and was slightly cloudy but the oil was fine. I warmed it up a bit and it cleared right up.....hth

I have always used the one from CandleScience. Everyone that has tried it has really liked how it killed odors and scented a room. It's not super strong but not light either. Not sure how to describe the scent....a cross between citrus(not lemony), and spice but was told it had a little bit of bubble gum scent to it also. hth

I like her Berries and Lillies, Pink Sugar, Lavender and Vanilla and Wild Sage. My alltime favorite from Gloria was her Carrot Cake which she no longer has.....such a yummy scent Berries and Lillies smells alot like a Victoria Secret scent but I can't for the life of me remember what the name of it is.

Red Sedona makes a great and super strong smelling candle. Everyone seems to be loving that one around here and I'm down to about a half lb of it. The 10.00 shipping on buying 1 bottle is a bit high though but she does add in an extra lb of something for every 2 lbs you buy which makes up for the high cost. I just name mine Red Sedona and yes it is a very unique scent

Vickey at KY has a Strawberry Taffy. She has some great oils but have not tried that one yet so can't say if it's a good one or not.

Blue Spruce is from CS, A strong clean scent. Quite a few people told me it reminded them of Irish Spring soap imo would be a great scent for St Patricks day My biggest seller is Love Spell from CS, Lilac(berts) Pink Sugar is also a big hit

Berts has htp 31 and cd4....not sure about cd3 C&S has CD3 but they are the small tealight size but might possibly be tall enough to fit them cute little jars. I didn't like how hot the jars got so I stopped using them but the next time I order from Bert I may give it another try. deb....does the jar get too hot using the lx wicks? I just purchased some various sizes of LX wicks from Bert for testing but don't think I got the 8's
