  1. My 2 best sellers so far are CS Christmas Hearth(flying off the shelves) and Candlewics Pomegranate Cider. CS Mistletoe and Cranberry Marmalade are close runner ups I just recently got 2 1 oz samples of the CS Pinecones and made some tarts with it. Not my kind of scent but the H and CT are super strong.
  2. Same here. I got the sample pack from candlewic also. Not sure when I'll have a chance to test them though but won't be trying them in palm wax. Will use igi 6006 because I think I read on the website that parasoy works best for wood wicks.
  3. That's exactly what I do and it works like a charm! As a matter of fact I'm doing a candle party this Thursday and I have a few summer leftovers and a few "non movers" and already have them in a box marked clearance which they will all be displayed on a seperate table marked for clearance and every time I do a party most of that stuff goes pretty quick. It's kinda funny how they all of a sudden like that scent better than before because it's 50% off LOL
  4. onlyfragrance.net has a lot of 5 1oz samplers for 4.95 and 10 1oz samples for 9.90 along with reasonable usps priority mail shipping it's a pretty good deal. The owner Luis is a very nice man that responds to emails and questions very quickley. Some people here really like the oils and some don't. I'm one of those that does like a few of his FO's, especially The Sugar Cookie and Red Velvet Cake which I have had great luck with both in my parasoy wax. I completley agree with the other posters advice given. Candlemaking is not cheap no matter what you do to try and save money, especially when testing, testing and more testing it sure does get expensive. Also, my favorite oils are from AH/RE (just about anything from KY I LOVE) and candlescience is my other favorite supplier. There are soooo many to choose from and there's a ton of info here that can help you out in a big way so good luck to you and welcome to the board
  5. wow! I 3rd the beautiful! I love them all but my favorite is the green.
  6. thecandlemakerstore for every 3 1 oz sampler you buy you get 1 free.
  7. They are beautiful PAgirl. The colors and swirls are great
  8. WOW!! They sure do look yummy! Great job! I love them
  9. It's also in the ultimate scent section of the website. They have it as Snicker Doodle ....not all one word...hmmm I thought it was supposed to be a one word cookie lol It's a pretty expensive FO at 28.37 per lb though. It's also a VERY dark brown color(at least the lb I got last year was) and I have about an oz of it left so time to get more. I have been hoping they would put that one on sale but so far nope. Pomagrante Cider is on sale though. Thanks for the heads up on the Holiday frost Mountain Soy. I was looking to try that one but maybe not if it's weak.
  10. Snickerdoodle is my must have. Just tested the Pomagrante Cider in Candlewics container palm and after just 3 days cure they smell awesome. So far a big hit with my tester people. I love this fo almost as much as the Snickerdoodle. Jack frost is another good one. I call it candy cane and everyone loves it. I was not impressed with the French Vanilla...got a very weak throw with that one
  11. Iv'e had good luck with Candlewics Jack Frost. Vanilla and peppermint(there's no pine in this one) but I use 6006.
  12. oooooo I love them! The colors are beautiful and I bet they smell great
  13. Here's 2 websites that have them. I'm sure there's plenty more that have them. Wholesalefloral.com http://stores.aqua-gems.com/storefront.bok
  14. They work the same way as smelly jellies. Warm to hot water works best and if my memory serves me correctly a pinch of salt and FO. You can also use a small amount of food coloring or any other type coloring except candle color. The throw is nothing to write home about but they sure do look pretty in a clear glass bowl/ vase. What I had done last year was use a fish bowl type container I got at the dollar store. Put a clear votive glass container with a tealight in it and carefully poured the marbles into the container all around the votive so that the marbles almost reached the top of the votive cup. When the tealight was lit you could see through the container and it looked so pretty. If I can get my camera working(or my daughters) I will try and post a pic. hth
  15. Karen.....yes I just checked. They do have it. It's called Pineapple Supreme. Great CT and HT
  16. They are called Aqua Gems.......liquid marbles I had found clear ones in a Dollar Tree store months ago. They are in the floral area but dont know if they sell them anymore and they are also sold in dry form that you can color or they come colored and are made pretty much the same as smelly jellies I believe. hth
  17. KY/ AH/RE has a great pineapple. Smells so much like the real thing and throws great in parasoy.
  18. 50/50 most of the time depending on the FO. Doesn't seem to slow down the burn time. No water and no smell of coconut. FCO is odorless and clear and resonably priced. Like I said...I use this for my own personal use. have never sold oils with this mix. The next time I place an order from a supplier that sells DPG I'm going to buy a small bottle of it to try out and see if I like that method better.
  19. C&S has a small variety of seasonal containers including Christmas. They are a bit on the pricey side but there are some cute ones. hth
  20. What type wax are you using? I usually use candlewicks feather palm and very rarely have to do a second pour unless I have a little sink hole in the middle around the wick. I'm sure someone here can give you some good tips if they knew the type wax...pour temps etc....
