  1. I have some great small metal mugs?? not sure exactly what they are. DH found them in an auto parts shop and they work great for pouring anything small or putting your re-pour wax in to melt again later. Only down fall is they have metal handles also so I have to use an oven mitt or something when pouring.
  2. Yes, and it comes with the metal pins for your wick holes.
  3. I have a couple of the 15 count mold from them also. I absolutely love it I would never go back to pouring them into the cups again. I don't do tons of them right now but still it is a huge time saver, I will end up purchasing more if I start selling more. A couple things for reference with 2 molds it takes just under 1 lb of wax. Also if there is anyone in Canada the plastic cups from CanWax fit them just perfect also.
  4. I just use bathroom style dixie cups. In an old pot I mix up my wood shavings and melted wax and just spoon it into the cups. I never have used wicks this way either, just light the top of the shavings and it is like a great big torch.
  5. You can use the oven but be very watchful as it is very easy to melt them into your jar. You could try other ways of warming them that may be safer like over your heat register. Really anything that is real low heat, they do melt real easy. HTH
  6. I also keep a small inventory. I don't have a lot of extra storage space but I try to keep it all full. This way there is no rushing when an order comes in because I have to make it. I can restock as soon as I have the time. HTH
  7. your best option it to call your internet provider and get exactly what need to be put in the outgoing box (SMTP). there is a hugh difference between providers and what each needs in that box. HTH
  8. I could be wrong but I do think someone on here a couple years back was doing this. They were using them for firestarters or something. :lipsrseal Yuck ...found it http://www.candletech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=30719&highlight=tampon
  9. If it is Aroma Beads you have then food coloring will not work. With Aroma Beads it must be an oil based dye. If you had the Smelly Jelly crystals then you would be able to use food coloring or andy type of water based dye. HTH
  10. I always try to do tracking with excel but it never works properly for me! So I end up just doing it all by hand in notebooks, but it is all still a mess and I only update once a month cause it is such a PIA. I wish I had more talent when setting up excel files, I do them and get mad then never use them cause I know I am using the wrong options. lol
  11. Are oils alowed in flat rate boxes??? If so OH BOY am I gonna be spending some mony now, lmao. But even if not for everything else it will be awsome!
  12. Thank-you....so what your saying is these should drive me nuts:p for quite some time:laugh2:, Gee Thanks. I will keep trying and if I figure something out I will post it here.
  13. That is awsome! Now if Canada Post would get some sort of flat rate shipping we would be laughing.
  14. I bought round labels from Online Labels (1.67") and I can't get them to line up. I am using DesignPro by Avery and these are supposed to be compatible. But no matter what I do I can't get these labels to center properly. Is there anyone who can please help me out with this? TIA
  15. This is how I do mine also and everyone loves them. I used to make them in the cupcake liners but was told that the wax kept drowning out the flame. I am not sure as I never had that problem with them done that way. But I guess you try and please the customer and most like them in the dixie cup. And to dress them up for beside a fire place I just mix potpourri with wax and spoon it on top.
  16. I have been looking all over and localy everyone has logo's on them:angry2: . I really wish I was better at looking for suppliers on my own:confused: .
  17. These may work for you and they have 3 different shapes you can go with now. http://www.candlewic.com/store/Product.aspx?q=cPolyurethane,p287
  18. I use the glass tealight cups from CanWax. I have never worried about being able to clean them as they hold either the plastic/aluminum cup. HTH
  19. Yah NEVER use the plastic cups in an enclosed ceramic burner. I have cheapo non-scented ones in aluminum for in things like that.
  20. I use clear cups and wicks from CanWax never had a problem.
  21. One of my mom's friends makes table top Christmass trees with them. They are very cute and she says they are easy but I have never looked at how there done. I know all you need is garland, strand of 25-50 lights and either fine wire or just use up your twist ties to secure everything.
  22. thanks Sharon, I was thinking the same thing and even tried it but the lids fit so tight it just rips anything I try to use.
  23. TY Indy, this is what I figured but just wanted to make sure.
  24. I was at my dollar store today looking for cheap glass containers to make my aroma beads in. I found some but they are sealed with a plastic gasket thing. Kinda like the one the is used on the glass lids for container candles. Now where the problem may come in is the FO eating away at that gasket thing. Will it be safe as long as I just kind swirl the beads and not shake so that the straight oil doesn't get on it? I hope I explained this right and if these won't work what is a cheap (so I can have one for each scent) alternative that I could use.
  25. I've done this with my smelly jellys also and have had no problems. Just makes them throw better. My mom also does this but is one of those that turn the burner on in the AM and off before bed. She said that if it is left on too long and they get to dry they start to pop???? I never let them get that dry but I guess it is possible.
