  1. Not sure if this is right and now that i am looking I can't find a picture. If it is the ones I am thinking of they are pillars that burn down the center and the outside edges actually fold outwards and roll down the outside instead if tunneling. So as I think it was put where I found them once burnt each pile of left over wax is its own unique piece of art.:rolleyes2 HTH
  2. Ty all for your replies. I had checked out a bunch and yah almost everyone carries them. I have seen that DPS seems to be the best price so I may order from them depending on shipping. I order a lot of stuff from CanWax so I guess that may be an option also.
  3. I am looking into purchasing more aroma beads, as any I have had have been out of the classy's. Since I have never got them from a company I wanted to know where the best place to purchase them.
  4. I think them not shipping to Canada started this year. It may have been right before Christmas though but I can't remember exactly.
  5. This is true, but you can always get stuff from Peak's via the co-ops as long as the host is willing to ship to Canada. Also I thought I saw a post from someone who had a previous account offering to add the there orders. You would pay extra shipping to get it from them but it may be worth it to you.
  6. I do this also I found wooden match boxes at www.weddingthings.com that work great. And I agree doing it yourself saves a good chunk of $$$.
  7. I agree with the Blackberry Sage, I can't keep it on the shelf.
  8. I just would prefer the same. And either way if I go to a new supplier for the chips then I will still have to retest. So if I am gonna change I may as well go to liquid as I have heard people love the liquid more than chips.
  9. If you are pouring lots of tealights at once I find the molds quicker, for the same reason as Sharon. Once they are cool YES you then put your wick in the hole and place them in either your plastic or tin cup. All done no mess and the outside of the cups look like new not like you have scraped wax off them. HTH
  10. That sounds great Sharon, hope it works. I am gonna be needing more molds very soon so I hope it works.
  11. I am not sure about the mold but have heard others talk about it. I am concerned about the dye chips, I think I am gonna have to break down and start testing all over and go to a liquid.
  12. I don't have the 100 one but I find the 15 one a perfect size. A 24 size I think would be awesome as I only sell them in dozens and I always have 6 left over from my 2 molds if i pour them full. I am thinking the big one would be a little awkward to handle for the most part. JMO
  13. In my area I charge $3.50 for a 1.5oz 3x4 organza bag it about all I can get away with. This is not quite a regular retail cost compaired to my costs but I do make some money on them. I use 1.5oz because I found that 1oz just didn't fill the bag enough for my liking.
  14. The regular tarts I shrink wrap, I find it the best way to keep them looking good during storage. Then I also have button melts and these I package in a bag with a hang tag folded over the top. I guess it all depends on the type of melts you are making and your storage compatibility.
  15. Yah good idea but I think they will have to wait for me to join in. I just recently got 15000 of each votive and tart warning labels. Maybe once I get through them all, lol.
  16. I like #5 the best, you just need to find a way to get rid of the white border around it.
  17. I think the look great! Maybe not what you were going for but I like them.
  18. OK well that completly sucks. I like the programe but was waiting for some updates he mentioned were coming for it to do exactly what I needed. I really don't want to get a different program and don't know if there is a program out the that will do all I want anyways. Grrrrr this is so frustrating.
  19. That is funny cause when I first got the molds I was under pouring them. Glad to know I am not the only one. Now I pour them so you see them just cresting the edge and stop and they semm perfect.
  20. I never do repours on my t-lites. I find that the dip is very minimal if any also if it bugs you enough you can always do what Henryk does and just flip them over when you put them in the cups. HTH
  21. I used the white dye block from these guys when I wanted to get a lighter color. This http://www.canwax.com/page/page/2955860.htm is what they have now to replace the blocks. I have never used it as I still have 1/4 of my block, the damn thing lasts forever with the little I use it. There has to be other suppliers but out of mine (Peak, CanWax mainly) this is the only white I can find. HTH
  22. I have always just used steric and never had a problem. There are white dye blocks but from what I know they are all pigment which can clog your wick. Sorry I got no better info.
  23. Yah I might have to look up the company or what I can next time I am in BC. He is in Canada actually when I checked when the site was still running he is out of Burnaby, British Columbia. I also tried e-mailing the same address a while back and I can't remember if I got it back as unable to deliver or if I heard nothing at all. The weird thing is I have seen the same program in software stores (Compu-Smart) so I can't see how they could just disappear. TY and I will keep checking into what I can and post what info I get.
  24. I don't know if this is the right spot to post this so please move if it is not. I am putting a holler out to those of you that use this program. I have some questions for them and can't seem to find them anywhere. If I try to use the links in the program for the help desk they go to a completely different page and if I try to use the link I purchased it from it is non-existent. Just wondering if any of you have been able to get a hold of them or if you are having the same problems. Thank-you in advance!
