  1. I want to try their Vanilla Bean Noel and the Spicy Apples & Peaches in my para-soy tarts. Anything else that's really good? I don't want to order just two samples. Thanks...
  2. Wonder what a good sugar cookie would be like..sounds kinda good to me. Jackbenimble..like your idea about sugar plum...sound fantastic!!
  3. Interesting...let us know how it does. I would not have thought the 6006 would release cleanly from a clamshell but who knows...never tried it.
  4. I use Grandma's Cupboard from AH/RE (the KY one)..smells just like oatmeal raisin cookies. I use it in a para-soy blend for tarts so not sure about pure soy. Island Girl is right...Cranberry Marmalade from CS is great.
  5. flowerbaby.....my para-soy mix tends to dimple a bit on the tops after they have cooled. The added bit of soy prevents that. Tarts are still nice and hard and ship perfectly. It's just an asthetic thing for me. (I don't think I spelled that right).
  6. 6006 would not be good on it's own for tarts...I use a para-soy tart wax blend and add 20% 444 and they release just fine from molds and clamshells. I think the only real difference between the 464 and the 444 is the melt point...464 has a lower melt point than the 444.
  7. I haven't used any but her prices are fantastic. Anxious to hear what other people may say.
  8. Thanks for all the suggestions...since I order some things from elements I'll get a sample of egg nog from there and if that doesn't work..I'll try Peaks.
  9. Has anyone found a really good Egg Nog..I mean one that really smells like Egg Nog? It'll be going in para-soy tarts. Tried the one from Miami-Erie and to my nose it smells nothing like it. Thanks Karen
  10. Just liked and posted!!! (Sun Harbor Scents)
  11. Thanks....I use the warmers with the electric warmer plates but will try the tealights because now that I think of it a lot more people seems to use those. Unfortunately our house has a lot of air return vents and I even have a very hard time getting a scent throw from candles because of it. I don't make candles but have tried numerous other peoples candles with no luck. Given the candles away to other people and they say they throw fine..oh well. I have given several tarts out to others for testing and they have not had any problems. I guess that's what I need to do more often. Thanks again..you have been most helpful. Off to dig out my tealight burners!!
  12. I'm trying to test some new scents for Fall and with the A/C running I'm having a really hard time. Sometimes I can't smell it at all in the room where it is melting but I can in another room..then sometimes I can't really smell it at all and then later on I get a wiff. Very frustrating!!! I've tried in just about every room I have with the same results. Any suggestions? How do others cope with this? With our temps nearing 100 degrees I can't really turn the A/C off. I live in the South so the a/c will possibly be on until Oct. Thanks Karen
  13. The 10 sample fo's should be here today. Will post an OOB review when the mail comes. I also ordered the Sweet Potato Pie but never tried KY's version.
  14. I haven't used many of their oils but the one I do like is Pumpkin Hollow for fall. Some I've gotten where kinda hit & miss..Oh..their Cream Brulee is pretty good..not fantastic but pretty good. Perhaps others who use more of their oils will answer.
  15. I know...crazy isn't it????? Let me know what you ordered. Of course I'm always impatient to get anything new...I think as soon as I order they should be on my doorstep the next day!!! Hopefully I'll get them this week and will let you all know my impressions.
  16. I've used their molds and really like them...never had a problem. Have not tried their soap bases as I get all mine from WSP.
  17. Ah..so true!!! Just ordered 10 of their 2 oz samplers (actually 2 of the sampler pack set..5 two ouncers for $17.25) Of course had to have Sweet Potatoe Pie and Country Berry Hotcakes. Also ordered Cozy Fall Nights, Buttercream Bliss, Lemonberry Crisp, Banana Nut Muffin, Blackberry Tea, Vanilla Bean Noel, Cinnamon Bread and Caramel Apple Cafe.
  18. My goodness...they all sound wonderful...I think I'm going to go broke!! Thank you guys so much!
  19. Thank you..I'll add those to my list. I'm going to be ordering this afternoon. It's good to know all her oils are geared to be super strong. BTW...I love apple scents!
  20. Bumping this back up...any must have strong fo's from this company for tarts?
  21. Lorelei...which ones are you thinking of? I want to place an order this weekend too if I can get some good suggestions.
  22. I saw the recent post regarding their fo's in candles..I only make tarts using a para soy blend. Any really good strong recommendations for tarts? I've never ordered from them before. Their Country Berry Hotcakes and Candle Shop fo's caught my eye. Thanks Karen
  23. Does it exist? I've tried several coconuts and the scent is always so light. I'm looking for one that is strong and actually smells like coconut. I've tried several from AH/RE, NG and coconut from SGS. Any suggestions for lotions, m&p and bath whip? Thanks.
  24. I'm still searching for a true coconut for b&b. I only do m&p, foaming bath whip and lotions. Tried AH's Bahama Coconut with no luck and several other suppliers I can't remember. Just ordered a sample of NG's Coconut Cabana so we'll see how that one is. Oh, another one is Key Lime Pie for b&b too. Most of them have too much lime and not enough pie.
