  1. There are plenty of software programs to run PC programs on the Mac. Just do a Google search if you don't already have one. Then just run the Avery. Dave

  4. The first time I used mine (self installed spigot) I turned it on, added wax and waited a few minutes until the wax melted.........Turned my head for a second and the wax was pouring all over my kitchen floor (hardwood).............Never thought about the spigot being in the open position! What a bloody mess! 1st and last time I ever did that! Love the spigot once I leaned open vs. closed! Dave

  10. I like the Palm wax. Have only used paraffin to date (Votives, Containers, Tarts) prior to these Pillars. Now I am playing with the Palm for Pillars and the GG Palm for Containers. It's different! I like it all. Just another way to spend all my money testing and learning. Still have not tried anything with soy...............Dave
  11. Thanks for the kind words and encouragement! Dave
  12. Have fun on your journey. I started because I hated spending money on Yankmees. I was spending a ton and hated the way they burned. Now I feel as though I could have bought that company with all I have spent on this journey. But I LOVE IT! And I do have a better candle (In MY Opinion). Dave

  14. I 2nd GAIA Like fresh turned moist dirt! Actually it is one of my favorites. I call it GROUNDED. Dave
  15. Took a while to make......most of a day, but really enjoyed the challenge. To date I had only used paraffin (votives, tarts and containers) with excellent success. I have to admit it was your pillars Richard that led me to trying palm. Many many different effects / results so far. Pillars made without layers and cooled, wrapped in towels and covered by a box, had the most wonderful crystalline designs. The layered ones a totally different look. The first ones burned great with just a bit of tunneling. Went up one wick size and have found a good match. Yes I am enjoying the wonders of Palm. thank you all for the knowledge and insight and inspirations to try different techniques and ideas. I really appreciate all I have gotten here on the board. Dave
  16. First pillar attempts...3 x 3.5 and 3 x 4.5 Palm wax and Peach fragrance. Dave
  17. 1st pillars came out awesome. Does the Stearic Acid do anything else besides aid in mold release? Palm wax is some really cools stuff. To date I have only been using paraffin and wow, I'm liking this stuff. Dave
