DH came home from work, said that some guys were laughing over Limbaugh saying on his show he wanted a great gardenia scented candle. So DH tells me I should send him one. I looked at his website, and yes--he is looking for one. I would never bother but I saw this post the same day and it made me think of that.

Wow..I used to live right there when I went to college. I went to Robert Morris and used to work at the airport. They used to have a nightclub in the basement of that Holiday Inn we used to go to--back in the 80's LOL. There is a place on the same road as the Holiday Inn--if you get a chance, swing by. It is called Wings, Suds and Spuds and they have the best wings and curly fries I have ever had. I hear they are still there. I don't think the place probably looks like much after all these years but I still hear they have their reputation.

Congrats I want to go to one of those festivals and have yet to go. Someday....

I like them! I always see the Red Hat ladies around town and when we go to shows. They are always having a blast and some being rather naughty--when I get older, I want to be a Red Hat Lady LOL!!

Some fruitcakes out there--I had a lady email me that she wanted to buy one of my candles and that she had bought from me before--I was more than willing to oblige. It was a scent I don't carry so I told her it wasn't my candle. I asked where she had gotten it from and let her know that I don't sell there. She emailed me back and she was furious. I was kind of funny now I think about it. She told me what store she bought it from and then went on to accuse me of lying to her telling me I didn't want to sell and it went on and on. She must have been very paranoid. She was telling me how nasty I was because I was trying to keep my candles from her and that she really liked them, etc. etc. I have never even been near where she says she bought it from and there just was no chance it was mine. I quit responding pronto to her as well.

I only did this on two batches, I am not a soapmaker. You can buy bigger sizes for use in a small room or closet.

Yeah, I have to agree there They wouldn't process it if it wasn't paid.

I have had BC add on stuff for me, but I think it depends where they are in the processing of the order. I know at least one time when they couldn't.

I had that problem last year. Buy a container of DampRid--you can get it at several retailers and I placed it in a sealable plastic container with the soap and it keeps it dry. I had some that had started to bead and it took care of those as well. I now use that regularly to store my soap in. LOL Your link brought up a tan handbag for me, I just searched gemstone soaps on the qvc link. The ones that jbren posted are the same things, different designs and more varied.

I like the little white ones with green dots How do you make those--I was trying to find out online--do you do them like glassblowers with a torch? That is probably something that I would NOT be good at I do enjoy looking at them though.

Those are beautiful, I think you would use them for decoration (which in AZ translates to dust collection)--I couldn't ever imagine using them.

I just found it on a search--the one thing that occurred to me is where do you get magnesium? Do they sell it at hardware stores? I have never seen it for sale! I may have created more of a dilemma LOL. Hoping it is easily available because it looks really easy to do. Actually Satinducky should look into that because that would be a dam good market, re-lighting citronella candles--I have never seen or heard of it and it is an issue.

I use it at 6% in J50 and it sells like hotcakes for me. I am also using it in B&B, air fresheners, etc. I guess it depends on the market. I think it far from smells like Pledge--I love lemon curd and it has a very true scent.
