    My store is one Wix (I LOOOOOOOOOOVE WIX!) and yeah, I haven't officially closed my Etsy shop, I haven't anything on it either. I just can't abide the extra fee on shipping. It pisses me off. I tried Artfire a few number of years ago and it just didn't have, or my stuff wasn't right for that platform. There was one site I loved, Poppyswap but it closed a good time ago and I'm still sad about that. Sigh. I'm thinking of going on FB Marketplace and selling, but at the same time I'm trying to spend less time on FB not more. lol.

    The cleansing balm I have them in now is 14.00 a tube. When I'm out of plastic lipbalm tubes and replace them with paperboard ones I'm thinking between seven and ten a tube. I use almost all organic and wildcrafted ingredients, my customers have super high expectations IE I actually know the family that harvests the Frankincense I use, none have complained about the prices.

    Thank you all! I think people really like them. Yes, it does take a second to explain how to use them and why I choose them over plastic but I love talking about them and my customers love them too.

    Number one gets my vote. I can read cursive fine (thanks gramma!) but to my eye it isn’t the *right* cursive for this label. The second one, I like it but it’s just a touch too bitchy to read easily. I like the first one best.

    I use the glassine bags and the tiny cloth bags for samples, and the “biodegradable “ bags for soaps but I like the glassine bags better. I would push up my cost a couple of cents, but my packaging time would go down. Hmmmmmmmm

    Holy cow! He’s gorgeous!!!! You can can totally do this! Sulfuric acid is only scary if you mess up badly. Remain a wary, remain thoughtful and careful. You’ll mess up eventually, but not badly. You’ll do fine! If if you can handle sodium hydroxide or potassium hydroxide you can handle sulfuric acid! You got this!

    There used to be that scent calculator, Rainbow Meadows (I think...) That was so helpful and wonderful, too bad a thief ruined it for everyone. I like Susan aka swift craft monkey for formulas, too.

    I am starting to use cucumber too. As a hydrosol it's so amazing and refreshing in the summer. I am planning, when the weather is nice enough to make a cucumber hydrosol. I have to do it outside because of the method.

    Yeah, there is a learning curve to lotion making, but it isn't the Most. Difficult. Thing. I actually love making it. If you have cooking and kitchen skills you can totally do it. Lotion making is about my favorite thing. I love all about it, the formulation, the infusion, the actual work (blending in a blender, the whole bit.)
