  2. Damn Damn Damn, I finally get to see what everyone is ravin about. The lit pic is up and running on my 'puter and it's beautiful. I can't understand why I couldn't see the first one, I seen the other pic with the girl on it and this one lit up blows me away,GREAT STUFF GAL.
  3. Hey Satin, surprise surprise, I can see the 'cane with the pic on it and it's gorgeous, one day I'm gonna try one, I only have a 4 inch square mold and I'm worried that it's not large enough to burn a votive in.
  4. Sorry Satin, it just ain't makin the trip here to Canada, I'm not being disrespectful, I just can't make it out. Maybe I need some new specks.
  5. Hey there MAMMA, they all look real good to me, gotta tell ya tho, " I sure do like the blue one best" that's the man in me talkin again. Great stuff girl, keep 'em comming.
  6. I must be missing something here. I see a sort of brown pic, but can't really tell what it is. Please help me out.
  7. I had a very similar problem. With my VERY LIMITED expertise, I think my problem was too much color. I was making an Anise candle for my daughter and I used a ton of black dye and that sucker would not burn for me.
  8. Being a man, "WHAMO" them's FANTASTIC candles. If he don't like 'em, put them in a box and send up here to Canada. I'll tell everybody I made them and I'll like lie hell and say "yep, thems mine for sure"
  9. Sure do like the collection of browns you display. Great work on all of them but I sure do like the brown ones best. I guess that's a mans point of view.
  10. If ya do decide to get rid of him, there's a dirty old man up here in Canada that's thinking of making a change. This old girls almost worn out after fifty one years. So there's my offer, if ya want me, "send me da money".
  11. PLEASE don't forget yer old pal tucker up here in the great white north. eh!!!!!
  12. WOWZER. Looks real good to me. Great choice of colors (in Canadian, colours) we're still tryin to figure out this gol darn English laguage.
  13. "goin to Alabama with my banjo on my knee" and I'm gonna make some candles "just you wait and see". Damn, I'm a poet and didn't know it. Gee whiz, guess what, I cut a wick a 32nd of an inch too long the other day. Ya think I'll go to candle makers hell???
  14. Not to fret. We've all had problems with levelling I'm sure. First off, are you poking relief holes as the pillars set up, very important step. OK, assuming you do, when I have one that totally sucks, I get out my hack saw and mitre box and cut some off the damn thing. THEN, I take my trusty angle iron 3x3x6 inches, set it in a pot on the stove with a paper towel in the bottom, hold the candle tightly against the angle iron and zippo, "IT'S LEVEL" Hope this helps a little bit.
  15. As we say in Canada "SPIFFY" great candle and great color. Keep them pix comming we love 'em.
  16. First prize again for DONITA. Damn, you make better mistakes than the rest of us can make on purpose. Great stuff gal.
  17. They look so wierd to me, but they're gorgeous, just not my fancy
  18. Looks real fine to me, I really like the colors, sorry, I can't pick out the dolphin.
  19. Very nice indeed. Really like the labels, they gotta sell fast.
  20. I have a problem with this hole (whole deal) I poke, poke and poke some more. The repour bubbles into the candle after it's completely cool and looks fine. BUT, the damn thing sometimes needs a third. Well sir (mam) I get out my mitre box and hack saw and cut the bugger square. Reason being, by this time I ani't got no mo wax for the third repour, and I am not gonna spend the rest of my life makin one candle.
  21. AND TODAYS WINNER FOR SPIFFIEST CANDLE............TARA...Great job gal, hope one day I'll be able to do one as well.
  22. Looks fine to me, if you can do that every time ya got a winner. With me, it's hit and miss, don't know why I can't be consistent with them, oh well, mamma always has lots of rejects to burn in the house.
  23. It's 8:15 AM Monday morning and yes, "I am totally confused" altho I'm gonna stick with TOPS plan today and give it a try. I will however add a couple oz. for the repour. God bless ya all for you input. I will definitely post the results as they become available.
