  17. Watching this post with interest. I want to make hurricanes with pics in them of my grand children in them. I've done a lot of reading and looking so far. I bought a hurricane mold today so I'm getting close to taking the step. I also bought a couple blocks of 1260 to make them (supposed to be the right wax)
  18. They are disgusting, dispickable, garbage, I'm ammazed you posted those pix. What you beter do is...."put 'em in a box, and ship 'em to the good old boy in Canada eh!". Then I can tell everyone here that I made them and get all the credit. Damn Donita, they sure look good to me. (smile)
  19. DAMN, that's a nice candle, wonder if I sent ya my address could ya send me one, it's a beauty.
  20. IN THIS CORNER WEIGHING IN AT *&^%$#@ we have DONITA, a winner every time. Great stuff gal. What days did you say you give lessons? I'd be glad to attend for sure.
  21. You nailed it girl. Couldn't be more AUTUMN (check the spelling) in my view. Try the new way of doing the seams. That is to say, while the wax is still pliable, push down the edges with your finger or whatever and the seam line meld together so that you really can't see them. It's really not too difficult to do and they look so great.
  22. Being asd I'm me, I say "spiffy for sure". Really get off on dark colors, let's see some more, PLEASE
  23. thanks for all of the come back, pro and con. I really wanted the truth and I got it and I appreciate it. The labels will stay as is THIS TIME, may change in the future. Fact is, there are only 5 of them and it is purely a test market to see if there is any interest in pillars. I'm hoping when they see "AUTUM" spelled wrong, they'll buy them as a collectors item. Who knows, maybe some day they'll be worth $8.00 or $9.00 (smile)
